I Went to a Party Last Night and Heard the Words “Loathe” and “Jackass”

So this morning I was trying to figure out what they mean. I think “loathe” is attractive because it’s a low-burning feeling, it isn’t pugilistic like hatred. Hatred really means you have to have hostilities. Loathing can come and go, and not consume you whole. As for “jackass,” there’s a good pompous kicking quality about the true jackass. As opposed to an assh*le who is mean and might really hurt you, a good jackass is entertaining, though yes, it does pay to stay out of his way.
