Alan Dershowitz has a nice piece in The Boston Globe telling the truth about Armenian genocide in 1915 (I said WWI in an earlier post; my bad). It would have been better if he had lit into the ADL for its stinkingly hypocritical pro-Israel position here, but– you can’t have everything. Go Dersh!

Hmmm… it's not like Dershowitz has suddenly got religion. What's the real motivation?
Dershowitz uses the tactic of telling some 'little' truths, in order that he may have some credibility as he continues to tell the 'big' lies.
Couldn't agree w. Lancethruster more. I guess we must acknowledge Dersh the few times he's actually right about something. But he's wrong, & horribly wrong, about so much else that it makes it hard to be as generous as Phil has been here.
Rich, you start out wrong when you get up in the morning. Dershowitz takes the side of jews, you take the side of Moslems. What does that make you?
By the way big Rich. Do you have a thing going with nadia-al- haj. Or is it another way to prostrate yourself. To say that the college campus is not friendly to Pro-Arab forces is a little disingenuous don't you think.
PS Thomas Klocek out of Depaul could use a break too. But, so called "progressives" like yourself reek of hypocrisy so I don't expect anything there.
Ha! Even a stopped clock is right twice a day–that's DOUBLE the number of times Dershowitz has been on the side of the angels.
"Dershowitz takes the side of jews, you take the side of Moslems. What does that make you?"
Hey Silverstein, that makes you kind of like Superman. Truth, justice and the American way. What other way is there for real Americans?
ah, liberal white boy. He's no pat Buchanan. An isolationist, paleo conservative if you will. No Big Rich is a Moslem apologist. He's never met a radical moslem terrorist he couldn't love. Fair enough, but don't try to pass yourself off has something your not.
Thats right Mr. Pearlman not the kind of liberal you are used to. That is to say the kind that dislike German, Italian or Japanese fascists, but when you mention apartheid Israel they put on the jack boots and are ready to goose step with you. That's what you are looking for isn't it Mr. Pearlman? I've been following Mr. Silverstein for a while now, and don't recall him supporting any radical Moslem terrorists. Where do you get these silly ideas?
ok, LWB, first explain to me has a self described liberal cancome down on the side of any Arab/Moslem country vsc Israel. Perhaps a little dose of life under Sharia is in order here.
Second, Silverstein neve wrote a column that touched on the middle east that isn't violently anti-Israel. he has a Hamas mouthpiece and that makes him a terrorist sympathizer.
Perhaps Richard should, like Padilla, be put before a 'patriotic' jury dressed in red, white and blue. Evidence can always be found or manufactured.See

Not that BP has earned the respect that makes him deserving of any answers, but what I've seen from most liberals/progressives shining a light on Israel's human rights abuses is that they're equally able/willing to point out where the other side errs as well.
Israel has had the ability to put forth a one-sided narrative for so long, that any deviation from the conventional wisdom seems to Pearldrops as a vicious, unrestrained attack on the "light unto the nations." Fortunately, more and more, thanks to individuals such as Philip and Richard, "that dog won't hunt." You might want to let someone know Bill, that the Hasbara manual needs to come up with some new tricks.
"Hmmm… it's not like Dershowitz has suddenly got religion. What's the real motivation?"
Good question, Defenestrator. Could it have something to do with the recent electoral success of an Islamic party in Turkey, and the prospect of more sympathy for the plight of the Palestinians from that side?
