I hear the Israeli Lobby is forcing MLB to name Kevin Youkilis the MVP of the ALCS. I think I saw some jews cheering louder for Youk than some of the gentile players. If that is not tribalism I don't know what is. And I think I heard a Cleveland fan booing more quietly for Jewkilis than the other Sox. If that is not dual-loyalty than I don't know what is. What those Jewish Rockie fans. They are a regular fifth column.

"Jews are principals in U.S. society. Antisemitism here is dead..."

The very prominence of such a numerically small group that, moreover, tries to stay separate from mainstream society, might arouse it again.

Aside from a small minority of very orthodox Jews, Where and how are jews trying to remain separate from mainstream society. Young jews are just as likely to marry a non jew as they are a jew, and while I'm Jewish and so is my wife, most of our friends are not. And we like having diversity. Get a life Arie Brand if you have an issue with Jews being successful in America.

Phil,

Just want to point out that Mark Shapiro, general manager of the Cleveland Indians, is my step-nephew. And that Mark's sister, Julie, is married to Eric Mangini, the head coach of the New York Jets.

How many degrees of separation is that?
