I generally don’t mention Joachim Martillo’s stuff because it’s too out there for me, too crazily brilliant, too much racialism. True, I am constantly dipping into the racial bucket in my analysis here, but Joachim’s too pure in his thinking on these questions, and besides I feel a need to love elite Ashkenazi Jews, my folks, while I criticize them.
Anyway, today Joachim has a poem written a month ago by a Robert Green that is beautiful. This poem is possibly completely wrong and inaccurate or possibly entirely accurate, I have no idea and don’t care; I don’t read poems for facts. I read them for the emotion and deeper truth. The emotions of this poem are the emotions I feel as an American contemplating the Nakba and the abuse of the Palestinians in the aftermath of the Holocaust. Says it all.
And guess what, young kids are feeling this way too. Jewish kids, non-Jewish kids, Palestinian kids, white kids, black kids, green kids.

There is no real evidence that the megadonars to Israel advocacy and Jewish communal networks care much about Jews in less exalted financial classes.
As far as I can tell some of the megadonars are quite enthusiastic about bringing reliable conservative white evangelical Christian Zionists into the web of control as footsoldiers and low-level professional advocates because these non-Jews have practically no qualms about abuse of Palestians or about engaging in a conspiracy against rights of Arab and Muslim Americans.
There is something strange about this term 'Palestinian hanging'. When you look, for instance, at the Wikipedia article on the term you would get the impression that it has but little to do with Palestinians.
The article mentions the use of this horrific torture by the medieval inquisition, in Auschwitz, by the Turkish security forces, in Abu Ghraib, and only in the very last sentence (and that in a quote) its 'alleged' use by Israeli soldiers is mentioned.
The Israeli High Court banned torture in 1999. Nevertheless torture kept going on in Israel. See the following article by Gideon Levy:

The April 2003 Report by the Public Committee Against Torture in Israel contains inter alia the following paragraphs:

Each month, hundreds of Palestinians were subjected to one degree or another of torture or other cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment (ill-treatment), at the hands of the GSS and bodies working on its behalf. By way of comparison – in September 2001 we estimated that the total number of detainees being subjected to torture and other ill-treatment reached 'only' dozens. The numbers have thus increased dramatically.
Each month, the ill-treatment reaching the level of torture as defined in international law was inflicted in dozens of cases, and possibly more. In other words – torture in Israel had once more become routine.

The Attorney General grants – wholesale, and with no exception – the 'necessity defense' approval for every single case of torture.
The result is a total, hermetic, impenetrable and unconditional protection that envelops the GSS system of torture, and enables it to continue undisturbed, with no supervision of scrutiny to speak of."

Despite Phil's claim, my analysis is not racialist. People like Witty are the racists. I have a long time interest in substate and transstate political actors and in the failure of modern political science to deal with them adequately.
If I did not highly prize Yiddish culture, I would probably not spent so much time in studying it.

Phil describes one of his purposes to remind Jews of the nut, the jewel, of what constitutes Jewish culture, the ethical commandments.
That is EXACTLY what I propose.
The way for Israel to be a Jewish state is for Jews as individuals and as collective entities (the state) to implement the ethical.
But, as a state, as a Zionist entity, not as an impractical "fact on the ground" of Jewish exclusion.

I have gone off Joachim because it seems to me that he is constantly rearranging and relabelling his historical and conceptual categories for polemical purposes. In this he is mirroring his targets, perhaps unconsciously, but nevertheless, it does not make for meaningful writing.

I think it was cowardly of Phil to imply that that he "loves" "his people" (like an anonymous commentator in another thread, I find the ethno-tribal allegiance bizarre in 201st century America, but whatever) more than Joachim Martillo does. How does one lovingly criticize a genocidal political ideology?
Obviously political speech is sometimes inflammatory and Martillo's definitely is. At the same time, the "tone" and "civility" police, ie Witty, and omg now Phil (no!!!), raise little objection to the barbaric, racist fundamentalist core of an ideology that states that one group of humans deserves a piece of land more than the humans already living there.
(I submit that no non-Jewish American, if explained the entire circumstances of the zionist landgrab, would express more sympathy for the zionists than for the Palestinians.)
I was also rather disappointed by our man Phil's need to distance himself from the word, "genocide." Phil has now apparently swallowed the pill that zionism was a solution for the situation of European Jews in the 1930s and 1940s, though zionism began many decades earlier, increased anti-semitism in Europe, and inhibited the potential immigration of European Jews to America and Britain.
There is no way, even if you showed me the most idyllic kibbutz on a brilliant and peaceful summer day, that I would see zionism "as a good". No colonialism, including the one that led to the country that I was born in, was "a good." They nearly all entailed racialism and genocide.
My only criticism of Martillo is that he ought to better gauge the knowledge of ignorami such as myself who constitute some of his audience, and assume less prior understanding of eastern European history and ethnography when he writes about these things. I think this would expand his audience.
