Although the war(-mongering) issue should predominate, the media, which got us into this war, has sucessfully shifted the public's focus to the economy. (Incidentally tonight on PBS in teh Boston area anyway, Bill Moyers "Buying the War" classic will be re-shown. It well documents the media's treacherous role.) Even though Obama is bending over backwards to show support for Israel, it will never be enough for the Likudniks. Hillary is taking full advantage of this (with the help of Barney's lovely sister) to capture the Jewish vote as she is much more the war-monger. She even supports cluster bombs and an undivided Jerusalem which will prevent the birth of any Palestinian state.
