Most of you know about the Diveroli case, in which a 21-year-old Florida kid gota $300-million arms contract with the Defense Department and proceeded to supply defective arms to Afghanistan. After the wonderful Times investigation was published in March, Henry Waxman demanded hearings on the Diveroli case. He wants to call all the arms dealers, and a State Dept and Defense Dept official.
Will Waxman fully investigate? I believe that Diveroli lives in either Debbie Wasserman Schultz’s district, or Ileana Ros-Lehtinen’s, in Florida. Did they help him get this contract? I don’t think anyone gets a $300 million Defense contract without some strong political support, let alone a 21-year-old hustler. You can’t get into West Point without your congressman.
The Jewish angle. Diveroli is described as a good Jewish boy whose father wanted him to become a doctor. (Yes; first do no harm.) Wasserman Schultz is a Jewish congresswoman who buys the AIPAC line down the line and won’t come out against Iraq-war supporting Republicans. Henry Waxman is a powerful congressman who once opposed the Vietnam war, but supported the Iraq one. No it’s not a conspiracy. But my people are now principals in America. What has this done to my people’s values? Can we ever acknowledge our privilege and its consequences?
And how many of us serve in the military?

Phil, why do you insist on smearing yourself by categorizing these cretins as "my people"? Greedy Judeofascists have always intertwined themselves within the Jewish people because they are useful for providing them cover. That's why the Jewish people have suffered through millennium: they are trained by the Judeofascists to rally to their aid like Pavlov's dogs. The Judeofascists today have a strong base in America, and they are going to wring it and average Jews for all each is worth until things get so hot that "the Jews" are forced to move somewhere else — a pattern that has repeated itself time and again. If average Jews really wanted to do something about anti-Semitism, they'd be hunting Judeofascists like the pariahs they are. Judeofascists are the equivalent of pedophile priests, who ensconced themselves in the Catholic Church to both cover their dirty deeds and bring the Catholics low. These types are all deeply degenerate. Don't waste another second aiding the degenerates’ disguise by calling them “my people.” You’re making the same mistake that the Catholics did by protecting the degenerate priests. They should all be flogged from the temple.

Mr. Diveroli sought court delays on national security grounds. “I am the President and only official employee of my business,” he wrote to the judge on Dec. 8, 2005. “My business is currently of great importance to the country as I am licensed Defense Contractor to the United States Government in the fight against terrorism in Iraq and I am doing my very best to provide our troops with all their equipment needs on pending critical contracts.”
Mwa ha ha ha … how preposterous. He might as well have written, "I am a TSA screener, serving on the front lines of protecting our nation against terror by seizing water bottles and shampoo containers from inexperienced travelers and clueless tourists."
During WW I, in a plainer-spoken America, 'defense contractors' were called 'war babies.' And those were the 'respectable' companies, not fly-by-night fronts like Diveroli.
Amazing, in Diveroli's case, that the Slimes had to dig out the dirty details of his Third World bribes and shoddy, 40-year-old ammo. Where's the Defense Department? Looks like the clowns who couldn't protect us from the 9/11 attacks — the ones who got their own headquarters whacked — haven't upgraded their act in the seven years since. Osama must be laughing up his sleeve, as he surfs the web whilst hooked up to his dialysis machine.
Wasserman-Schulz is also the lady who shut down the impeachment motion and gave a bullshit press conference defending the move. I hate her intensely, and I don't think she's hot, Phil.
Can we get her booted from the Democratic Party in any way other than a primary challenge next election cycle for her district?
I have an idea. Phil, if you go have an affair with her, we could have a scandal like Spitzer's. It would be two birds with one stone; you get to tap that, and she resigns.

Didn't Waxman promise to hold hearings about Sibel Edwards and the Administrations lies in regard to pre-invasion of Iraq? We are still waiting. Nothing will come of this.

I wonder if this is how its always been for the jews down the centuries as they lived in other nations, i wonder if what we see happening in america is similar in some way to the past and why the history of the jews in other nations has been so frought with tragedy for them?

If Phil thinks Wasserman Schultz is hot, I agree. She seems to be taking a lukewarm position on foreign policy re the middle east, at least compared to the hard core, the current and long-time position. But, I think that's my little guy telling my big guy what to do. If so, that's depressing. She's young, and so fanatical?
