In the Only Democracy in the Middle East…

Here is another photo from Hebron, showing a lane in the old city. Take note of the netting over the lane. Reports M.J. Rosenberg of the Israel Policy Forum:

But the most striking thing is the steel mesh screens that the Arabs have installed just above the heads of pedestrians to protect them from the garbage and excrement routinely dumped by the settlers from their second floor windows.  The screens catch all sorts of disgusting stuff and lethal objects like cinder blocks, although liquid debris does make its way to the ground or on the heads of anyone below.

That story is over three years old. Is that the best you can come up for your settler-bashing, something that out of date?

    Bar Kochba,

I am pleased to know that in the future you will not be bringing up any stories of Arab violence against Jews that are more than three years old.

Hitler always pointed to the saga of the native Americans to justify his land grabs (when he wasn't asking why are you always picking on us Germans?). The Zionist right now does the same thing. In between these time periods came Nuremberg, which doesn't seem to matter at all. Goering's soul is ROFL. A new Geronimo needs to hire Rodny Dangerfield's ghost. Sarah Silverman anyone? Jack Abramoff? Amazing Grace, how sweet it is.

If this story is more than 3 years old does this mean that these blatant acts of racism are no longer taking place in Hebron? Can you report that the Israeli government has established law and order in this city, that is fair and not racially based? If the answer is no, and that the Jewish "settlers" in Hebron are still treating the Palestinians like sub-humans, then we need to keep talking about them until we shame the perpetrators to stop. Since when do we stop talking about man's inhumanity to man just because a certain amount of time has passed? We're still talking about the holocaust, aren't we? And that was 60 years ago, not 3.
