'Israel has bandwidth'

The same forces that ensure there's no bandwidth in the US are hard at work here in Australia, trying to achieve the sort of blackout you endure.

Middle East correspondent for the last 5 years for the Sydney Morning Herald Ed O'Loughlin penned his final piece the other day, only to see it pulled by the editor without warning or explanation. His reporting, utterly blameless so far as I could see, had apparently been under relentless attack by the local chapter of the Lobby, and his gutless editor obviously decided he could do without the usual tsunami of righteous Zionist wrath.

I had a letter published in the Herald today - after much argy bargy with the (I think) Jewish letter editor, who in the end I think treated me fairly and kept the sense of my missive, after shaving off some of my sharper edges.
