Or what percentage of them had this disease? Jeffrey Goldburg was surely one of the worst as he had credibility as a New Yorker writer. But there were many, many. Now it seems pretty obvious the crap they were peddling was dishonest. Not just wrong, but dishonest. Lies.Salon had a piece on what those hawks say now about their wrongness. Why does anyone care what they say now? The idea that Goldburg is being courageous for his shift on W&M is absurd. This man has an agenda and it is not truth. Can someone out there get inside his head and write his internal dialogue? I really want to know what these people were thinking, dreaming. Was it really all about security for Israel? Perpetrating this giant hoax on Americans would never be found out? We would be blindly by led to sacrifice our country for another one? I really don't want to get polemical I want to know. How much was conscious, how much was being led and deluded by passionate devotion to their particular gurus?
