The World Will Play a Role in Our Election This Time

Judicial Watch is questioning an event that John McCain had in London with the Rochschilds; the law says foreign nationals are not allowed to contribute to American campaigns. Also questioned: a concert that Elton John gave for Hillary Clinton. I like this law but it’s more honored in the breach these days (look at Haim Saban, who calls Israel home, running a leading Washington thinktank and giving tons to Hillary. Haaretz: "Let’s go back to Israel – do you see yourself returning?" Saban: "Home? No…I could say I am contributing far more to Israel being here.")

The world’s too small for the spirit of this law to be meaningful; other countries feel too great a stake in our election not to say something. Being optimistic, I feel the world’s going to play a big part in the victory of Barack Obama this November. Not sure how yet; giant crowds greeting him in Europe this summer, appeals from African nations for personal interventions, weird interference in October by Osama bin Laden, maybe straw polls in Aussie…

    What specific law is that?

Great idea…giving away control of our Shining City on a Hill to foreigners who don't even begin to respect our values.

We don't need no stinking laws in a feudalistic society. Banana republic here we come.

An event with the Rothschilds? And yet, who
is permitted to analyze the enormous power
of Jewish money in our electoral process?

  4. Charles Keating says:

In the USA, the public saw, "Follow the money" is used selectively; there is a pattern. It's pretty clear who's expendable.

I am less concerned about Israelis contributing to American presidential candidates than the United States giving money to a rich country like Israel. I just read today that the average Israeli earns $109 to $133/day. That's fine, except that 57% of all black Americans earn under $102/day. Before we give any more money to Israel, maybe we should raise the wages of black Americans to the same level as white Israelis.

    An excellent blog, Phil.
People who think the issue of the influence of wealthy Jewish finance capitalists is an antisemitc cannard should think again.
Now, yes its possible that "Jewish" is a contingent term in the proposition. But lets remember that the Rothschilds played a very significant role in the creation of Israel.
So, is it reasonable to assume that "protecting" Israel is dear to the hearts of the Rothschilds family?
Again,it is possible the Rothschilds want to tone down the McCain hawkish line on Israel,
that they may want him to go more towards the Soros direction. The point is that this is certainly worth watching!!
Now,Clinton and Saban. Haim Saban has contributed much to the Democratic party, is an active zionist who raises money in America for the IDF, and says he has only one issue:
    "Israel".
I bet Haim is speaking thru Hillary, when she makes her belicose comments about bombing Iran for Israel…

  7. I can make a good case the Lord Lionel Walter Rothschild was the first member of Judonia.

how much of the billions made by milchan, saban, arison, others come via israel? an economic policy of sorts. money from american taxpayers to israel returned to start businesses to influence policy to take power.

  9. Charles Keating says:

None of this is new. Rothschild played both goy players long ago. Ask the ghost of Napoleon. Greenspan-Bernake, look at them. Is there anything more mendacious on the face of the earth?

    Dear Philip,

At last, some balance in the debate! Not bad for a Crime-ed! Here's the view of an old 'Poonie*:

I believe that what Zionists and pro-Israel forces and factors have lacked, historically, is honesty and the perspective it lends to any situation. Hubris and the heady mix of huge financial success and extremely effective use (and misuse) of the American media and political apparati have led to incredible myopia on the part of Jews in this country and worldwide. Absolutely incredible.

This is largely true of most statist and socialist liberals, once in power. They seemingly lack any concept of their views' and activities' generation of "equal and opposite" reactions in human affairs. Speech codes on campus? Mandatory this and mandatory that? Do they know nothing about human nature? Similarly, Israel and Zionists worldwide seem blind to the consequences of the utterly unconscionable mistreatment of Palestinians by Israelis.

The "Goyview" (such as mine) has been ignored–even suppressed. It is not anti-Israel, but it is definitely clear-eyed on the issues surrounding the Middle east. Most importantly, it's "out there", and it's burgeoning. Europe's reaction to Obama is an ominous indicator, as you so honestly point out. Heaven help those who choose to silence this view. On every issue, from the USS Liberty, to the 1967 War, from the illegal settlements and (especially) the influence of the Israel Lobby and Zionists on the American political landscape (and the Iraq War)—there is tremendous, albeit silenced, passion.

It is doubly ironic that the liberal Democrats—-heavily funded by American Jewry—are Israel's worst domestic enemy. Talk about myopia!

The only salvation for Israel is to admit what it's done, reverse its thefts of land and policies of apartheid and follow what amounts to a "post-Zionist" stance. Otherwise the worldwide upwelling of anti-Israel fervor will work horrific damage to Israel and America (as it already has). You are indeed on the right track. Israel must make public its debate and it must cease its devastation of the Palestinian community. Israel and the Jew's influence over American media and politics is still strong (in many people's view, overly so), but it will face extraordinary and stressful challenges in the future. Your acceptance of the role of American support of Israel in 9/11 shows that you are the type of American (and Jew) who is absolutely indispensable to opening the debate and moving toward a valid resolution.

Kudos to you! You are an honest and estimable man.

    Fred
