Biden's a good man and the right choice for Obama.

Obama will win, and his winning will result in good governance.

I remember being at the aipac convention a few years ago and Biden was the keynote speaker. That alone has to bury him with the Phil Weiss fan base.

Richard were/are you in favor of Sen. Bozo's proposal to divide Iraq in three?

(Most of my zionist friends like the idea very much--more proof that this was a war for oil, you might say.)

Biden dodged the Vietnam war, voted for the Iraq war, and is a backer of a wider Georgian/Russian war.

Biden's proposal, which insists on the euphemism "federalism" in lieu of "partition", but effectively separates Iraq into three regional governments, was authored with none other than the brilliant Leslie Gelb, CFR head-honcho, longtime Pentagon apparatchik, and zionist warmonger extraordinaire, who had the prescience to declare to the AP in 2003 on the eve of war,

"I'm in favor of [the invasion].... It's the best medicine for anti-Americanism around the world I can imagine."

The silver lining here is that Sen. Bozo does have a son, Beauzo Jr, capt. of the Delaware National Guard, who's due to be deployed to Mesopotamia in October, 2008. He's also the Attorney General of Delaware, and one presumes he'd like to return to the U.S. outside of a coffin.

Let us hope that Beauzo, at least, has his daddy's ear. (Since we the people obviously do not.)

.

It says a lot about Barack Obama that he chose to run with 'Windsock Joe' Biden, who constitutes living proof that a mammal can exist without a spine. One has to think that Barry (if I may take the liberty of familiarity, Senator) has chosen a man in his own image -- a pretty face and an empty suit.

But there are three other troubling aspects of Barry's choice:

1. Instead of reaching out to the provinces for a running mate, Obama selected a fellow Senator -- at a time when Congress enjoys an approval rating of nine (9) percent. From the founding of the country until recently, the Senate -- mindful of its constitutional role in approving treaties -- acted as the president's partner in shaping foreign policy. But during the Bush reign, the Senate has completely defaulted on its responsibilities, acting as a supine rubber stamp for Bush's adventurism. And Barry and Joe helped!

2. Obama wants to project a populist flavor to court working folks and minorities. But the Senate is a notorious millionaires' country club. What do working people have in common with a well-coiffed popinjay like Biden?

3. Biden, like Obama, is a lawyer. This is already starting to remind me of the master pettifogger Bill Clinton, who was married to a lawyer, selected a lawyer running-mate, and appointed a cabinet of which 16 of 17 were lawyers. The extremely limited, undiversified perspective of Clinton's phalanx of lawyer- advisors helped produce some of the tone-deaf political blunders which got the fledging Clinton administration off to a memorably rocky start during its first week.

So -- two millionaire lawyer Senators, working tirelessly to improve the lot of the common man. YEAH, RIGHT! And I just fell off that thar turnip truck!

I find this slate about as appealing as -- to quote ol' Lyndon Brownnose Johnson -- a pitcher of warm spit. Eff 'em both!

.

MM -- "Beauzo Jr" -- laughin' my ass off!

'Beauzo' is unqualified to serve in Mesopotamia, on the grounds that he's an invertebrate.

And OMG, he's a lawyer, too!

THAT'S ENOUGH LAWYERS, LORD!

He actually needs somebody who knows how to work congress. Consider Obama's record. He's only been there 4 yrs. He doesn't show up to work much. And when he does he doesn't generally vote yes or no on anything.
