11- and 13-Year-Old Palestinian Boys Spend Week in Jail for Protesting Separation Wall
Posted in Israel/Palestine, US Policy in the Middle East

The reason is simple, and well known.
Many Israelis, particularly militants and settler ultra-Zionists, view Palestinians (Arabs) as no different from dogs or cockroaches, i.e. racially inferior to them. Another way to describe this is racial and religious bigotry.
With this in mind, it makes perfect sense why they jailed these young "pups", and probably delivered a few beatings in the process. With "dogs", you have to break "bad" behavior as soon as possible, and the best way to do that is to keep them in their cage while you beat them a bit. Oh wait, that's what cruel sadistic "dog" "owners" do. Can we get the Dog Whisperer to fly over and consult with the Israeli Occupation Forces?
And then we have Palestine, the world's largest "dog" cage. Daily beatings and shootings are free for all.
Putting them in a pound is morally superior to extermination.
Ripping off Eva's arm and beating her with it is superior to raping and killing her. Therefore let us commence with ripping off her arm, which is the morally superior "choice".
David, I don't think that's Eva. Bill has lately take an interest in wearing her clothes, because no-one takes any notice of him in his own.
'What is there to say about such a thing?'
How about 'we hereby cut off all diplomatic ties with and financial support of your country until you rectify this situation and take steps to ensure it can never happen again.'
Sorry, sorry Glen, that was me: I was feeling absolutely outraged and just didn't know to express it. Straight statement just did not seem to express it strongly enough.
Children.
Prison.
Nobody doing anything about it for a week!
I simply forgot to add the "(irony/sarcasm alert!!!!!!!!!!!!!) to my one-liner.
Which brings me to an upsetting reflection, that there are people out there that WOULD make such a statement with a straight face – and they are not in history books, but are living, breathing and visiting these pages.
Thank you, David, for being angry.
No worries Eva – crossed wires.
If Israeli crimes ever break thru into American consciousness, it will be those involving children that will trigger debate.
