Can McCain Take a Step Without His Wife?

Doing my part to feed the pro-Obama gossip mills: I was at a party last night where a friend who follows these things said that she has not yet seen McCain give a speech without Cindy there. Why do you think that's the case? Because he's an old man, and feels it, and is dependent on his wife. Youthful Obama goes lots of places without his wife. (My friend also said that she's never seen Cindy wear the same dress twice.)

Obama doesn't take his wife because she loses him votes everywhere he goes. He certainly can't take her to Pennsylvania. All they would see there is someone still resetful, after all these years, of having needed affirmative action to get her into Princeton and Harvard Law.
