The Jewish press has covered the fact that Jimmy Carter was ostracized at the Democratic Convention. The Forward says that the Obama camp made the call so as not to alienate Jewish voters.
Ira Forman, executive director of the National Jewish Democratic
Council… "The party is very sensitive to the American Jewish community,
and it's very sensitive to ever conveying that this is anything but a
pro-Israel party."

Egad. When will the press get on this hugely-important story that affects our Middle East policy from top to bottom? Imagine for just one second that George H.W. Bush couldn't speak at the Republican convention because it might alienate the anti-abortion camp. Imagine the howls in the media, over social norms. And when will reporters drop the insulting-our-intelligence mask of "Jewish voters" and say what any intelligent observer of politics knows: It's Jewish money.

Phil, why isnt the press covering this story?
at least the forward put it out there.
is the press independent?
is there a press shotcaller?
illumine us "we the people"
I put up the email Nader set out at Obama, Carter, Israel.
Obama's latest appeasement might temper your zeal for him, Phil.
It matters little to have a personal vision if one habitually submerges it in the sewer of a corrupt system.
a better link for Nader's e-mail–
Obama, Carter, Israel
I saw Carter interviewed on TV a few short months ago.
Even at his current advanced age, he would make a better president than any candidate the mainstream parties roled out this year.
Carter was irrelevant even as President. He was an utter failure with the dubious distinction of not being re-elected, which is almost impossible for a sitting President.
Americans rejected him then.
Americans reject him now.
Has nothing to do with the Jews.
