And he's right. Obama pointed out to CNN that his campaign has a budget of $30 million or so a month, and has 2500 employees. The campaign's been going for a year-and-a-half, it knocked off an Establishment candidate against all odds, and, apart from the whining audiotape, hasn't made one goddamn mistake.

If Palin's boosters argue her time as mayor and governor give her more executive experience than Obama, it would also give her more executive experience than John McCain, who has been a legislator his whole political career.

It was always a mistake to defend the Rev. Wright by throwing his grandmother under a bus. If Obama truly thinks his grandmother is a racist, he will will not only be the first black president, he will also be the first president of only blacks.
Obama's two other big mistakes were: (1) admitting that he thought that the working class whites of Pennsylvania clung to their guns and their religion because they lost their jobs and (2) pandering to AIPAC above and beyond what was needed to win the nomination.
So Senator Obama's crowning achievement while in office as a US Senator has been to campaign for higher office?
