I went for a walk with my wife yesterday and bragged about my two last headlines re Ralph Seliger, one about him bitchslapping me, and another saying he was on me like a duck on a junebug. "Poor Ralph," said my wife, who has very little idea about the dialogue (other than it is absurd for someone to call himself leftwing and to have supported the Iraq war). I felt ashamed. The disclaimer, It's a blog, doesn't work. Apologies to Ralph.

Or, did he oppose the war for different stated reasons and logic than you?
And, are you saying that only those that opposed the war for the same reasons as you are acceptable to you, and you are willing speak respectfully to (literally respectfully, not just surface manners)?

Witty, most of your postings are totally snarky like carefully-crafted accountant statements, the accountant always knowing on which side his bread is buttered. I'd say you are Mister Enron in person.
If you read the posts, they are based on principles, which I believe are articulated and consistently applied.
If you can't discern that, or regard different principles as accurate or right, we can discuss that.

Please respond to my question; inquiring visitors and posters here want to know, especially since SOG raises the question frequently in his direct attacks on Phil.
I'm sure exactly what question you are asking.
Are you asking what the Israeli state defines as a Jew for the purpose of return, what various orthodoxies regard as a Jew, what you regard as a Jew, or what I regard as a Jew?
None of the answers are perfectly clear, as it nots perfectly clear who is Irish, or a Scot, or a Palestinian.
