Obama’s Traffic Is Kicking McCain’s in the Hinder

My co-assimilationist Brian Dana Akers showed me this metric. Obama’s kicking McCain’s butt online in somewhat direct proportion to his polling success. This is from Alexa, a traffic-measurer. I say it doesn’t really matter whether Obama wins or loses, he’s already won, he’s president of the… zeitgeist.

Has anybody seen DemocracyNow and its program on the deliberate and sustained purging of the electoral rolls of the Democratic voters?
I think it was Greg Palast who said that Obama/Biden need to get extra 5-6 % of the vote to actually break even.
    Scary stuff…..

President of the Zeitgeist … Viceroy of Vietghanistan … Defender of the Dollar.

    In short, doomed.

  4. The GOP is no longer a serious political party; it is a cult of venom-spewing, ignorant extremists.

As cult members, the GOP'ers are impervious to reason.

What the world needs is for them to have their very own Jonestown.

boy, those election polls will be all wrong… AGAIN.

Stop using words like "hinder" and "bitchslap." The first fucking rule of journalism should be don't write anything you'd never say.

Have you seen all the Internet stories suggesting it wasn't Obama but Bill Ayers who wrote "Dreams From My Father." One reason given is the poem Obama wrote at Occidental College for the campus magazine.

I cannot believe anyone capable of writing a poem like this (even as an undergraduate) could write "Dreams From My Father." It doesn't compute. I'm pretty much convinced that Obama didn't write "Dreams" (and having seen portions of her senior thesis, neither did Michelle). I believe it really was Ayers, who is a gifted stylist and at one time wanted to be a novelist before he became a radical.

This is big. Another Monica's blue dress. It will be everywhere in two days. Obama's staff must be having a heart attack.

    And now Obama's poem:

    Under water grottos, caverns

    Filled with apes

    That eat figs.

    Stepping on the figs

    That the apes

    Eat, they crunch.

    The apes howl, bare

    Their fangs, dance . . .

And then after this Obama goes out and writes "Dreams From My Father," which the New York Times proclaimed a literary masterpiece. Talk about an October surprise. I sure never saw this one coming, though I do remember wondering why someone who was running as the post-racial candidate was so obsessed race when he wrote this book.

    Wow Duscany:

You are really on to something there! This promises to be the scandal of the century!!

IT makes perfect sense that Obama was best buddies with Ayers. After all, Muslim radicals always see eye-to-eye with hippy-commies. Keep up the good work and be sure to post the results of your precious investigation here, so we can all be educated and informed!!

As I'm sure you know Tolstoy did not spring full blown in all his power right out of the Russian steppe. He had a history, a record, a solid portfolio, before he produced "War & Peace." If Obama is the talented writer you say he is, don't you go out and produce anything Obama wrote before "Dreams From My Father" that shows ANY literary ability whatsoever?
