Children in Ni'lin demonstrate against the annexation wall and as they advance on the construction are tear-gassed by Israeli soldiers. Which side are you on?

Outrages there, outrages here… Teargassing children, starving children, shooting children, do we see a pattern yet?

As the SS officer said, "Why do I allow spearing baby jew heads on a bayonet? Foolish question. Otherwise, they will grow up to be
our mortal enemies. It's prudent. Germany deserves no less."

And of course Gaza is sealed. Except that the yesterday Israeli buldozers came into Gaza to destroy agricultural land; but this is so routine it is not even mentioned when truce and it's violations are reported.

Gazan haven't yet absorbed the lesson that their lot is to starve quietly, and without fuss.

I notice a complete lack of interest in commenting on this story by those usually quick to defend Israeli behavior in the OPT. Does this story embarrass you? I doubt an order to teargas children originated from civilian authority. Would you agree that, this time at least, the IDF has gone too far? As long as there is capacity for embarrassment, there is hope for moral reawakening. Happy Thanksgiving! There will be no turkey pardon at my clan's feast, hehe.

  5. roGER says:

If only it was *just* teargas.

Several kids and teenagers have been shot dead at Nil'in in the past year or so.

Needless to say, Israel has launched a through investigation of each shooting and those responsible for these acts of murder have been imprisoned.

Except Israel hasn't, and they haven't.

  6. observer, I should be interested to know whether you have any source other than your somewhat lurid imagination for the 'ss officer' pseudo-quote you offer above.

  7. ifnotnowwhen says:

I'll try to dig it up, Rowan–meanwhile, what do you have to say
about the substantive content of the quote? And do you think
that was not common NAZI thinking at the time?

  8. of course not. It may be common content for the spielberg watching generation, but not for the real world.

  9. ifnotnowwhen says:

Rowan, how so? Inquisitive minds want to know.

  10. Inquisitive minds should formulate questions that make sense, if they want to know anything at all.

    RB:

Quit playing Witty games. The core of why the Jews hate NAZIs is
that the NAZIs viewed the world as a war between Aryans and Jews,
in a darwin survival state; this of course included killing off future generations of the opponent in infancy. Everyone on this blog knows
this is what has. been discussed by my comments and your comments. Get out of the Talmud. Just address the issues head on, air that dirty laundry in front of the goys.
