The Washington Post editorializes that likely-AG-designate Eric Holder had a spotless record as a prosecutor until one dark dread night in 2001, when he signed off on the Marc Rich pardon. His sole blot. The Post sucks its thumb:
why did Mr. Holder not object to the pardon of a fugitive millionaire politically connected to the president?
Good question. The Post doesn't bring up my favorite angle, of course. Ehud Barak wanted Rich pardoned. So did Scooter Libby. Is that significant? Rich, who was born in Belgium, had given loads of money to Clinton and to Israel. Is there a way to even talk about this stuff? Evidently no.

Holder defended Chiquita's use of death squads in S. America. The Rich pardon noise is supposed to prevent that from being widely known.
Of course it's hard to "talk about." There is palpable fear that, as the economy implodes, scapegoats will be found. There are still significant numbers with "New World Order" paranoia that think some secret group of Jewish bankers are creating this for nefarious reasons. While I don't think we are at risk of pogroms, I don't really know. Not many saw the dramatic collapse of communism. Such is the nature of fear.
Pogroms happen every day in Amerika. They are directed at Hispanic immigrants, today's scapegoats, and supported by a super majority of Americans.
"There is palpable fear that, as the economy implodes, (Jewish) scapegoats will be found"
The second oldest Zionist excuse in the book on why to ignore crimes, chicanery and malfeasance perpetrated by Zionists and their collaborators. Merely just another variation of the "the world is filled with anti-Semites" canard. The world is actually filled with a God-inspired thirst for justice, and when Zionists are on the side of injustice (a regular occurrence) there is going to be a God-inspired backlash. That’s a tough concept for Zionists and socialistic, atheistic left-liberal media to swallow. They’d rather believe that they’re the Gods.
Two assholes get into a fight.
What's one thing you already know about the winner?
That's right.
If there are pogroms directed against Mexicans in America, what do
think of Mexico's treatment of illegal immigrants? Is paying for emergency ward service and public education part of American pogroms? Tommy?
The Marc Rich saga is a case book example of exactly what is wrong
with America. We haver become as corrupt as any Third World county
–and economically, we are getting there equally fast.
I wish I knew an effective way for real campaign finance reform.
It seems the only hope is in the internet.
Campaign finance reform:
It's not finance, but it would greatly reduce the influence of money.
Outline
Presidential candidates would be required to give one speech of 30 minutes in each of the eight weeks before the election.
Only the candidate could speak, they could speak on any topic, there could be no visual aids other than bullet points and static charts.
There would be no charge to the candidate. The talks by the major candidates would be in prime time, nationwide. The talks by the minor candidates could be at other times.
Benefits
Candidates would have to cover all major issues in some detail. If they did not, they would be criticized for repetition.
They could not give the same talking points over and over, as is often done in debates, there would be too much time and there would not be repetitive back and forth argumentation which can consume all the available time on one point.
They could not avoid a topic by changing to a topic of greater interest.
They would have time to prepare an answer to other candidates' speeches. This is more in accord with what is required of a President than is the ability to be fast on one's feet.
Other Offices
A similar procedure could hold for representatives and senators in their geographical area.
Same for state governors and legislators; I suppose it would be up to the states to implement those requirements.
Just like the Russian Jews provided the Russian economy more than they took out of it, Hispanic immigrants in the US provide more to the US economy than they take out. Much more. The pogroms carried out daily in the US by INS and local sheriffs against immigrants should be opposed; they resemble the Constable's treatment of Russian Jews in The Fiddler on the Roof.
The ill-treatment of immigrants in Mexico is, of course, wrong, and I condemn it. However, as an American I must condemn the injustices in my country in much stronger terms than that of another, which is also why I condemn the oppression of Palestinians with American gifted weapons to Israel so strongly.
Tommy: "Hispanic immigrants in the US provide more to the US economy than they take out."
A few do. But uneducated illegal immigrant Hispanics, along with their families, cost the taxpayer more than a million dollars over their lifetimes when it comes to services rendered over taxes paid.
From: link to unc.edu
"North Carolina’s rapidly growing Hispanic population contributes more than $9 billion to the state’s economy through its purchases, taxes and labor, while costing the state budget a net $102 per Hispanic resident in health care, education and correctional services, according to a new study by researchers at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill."
There may be a few communities that do not have a net increase in their local economies due to immigrants, but for the most part immigrants contribute more to the whole economy than they cost. Pogroms, on the other hand, cost economies a lot by preventing people from working and contributing to the economy.
Did your immigrant ancestors not contribute more than they took from the economy?
$102 per head per week, month, year or what?
How many "residents" are we talking about?
