American street, and American elite

Here's Obama's transition website, where Americans are urged to ask questions. Reports a friend:

You will see in the Foreign Policy link, almost all the questions were related to the bombardment of Gaza and in general, asking him to do something about changing the US's skewed favoritism of Israel.

Meanwhile, the Meet the Press lineup for Sunday:

"Plus, the fighting continues between Israel and Hamas in Gaza. When will it end? What role should the United States play in this conflict and what other foreign policy challenges await President-elect Obama in 2009? Insights and analysis from our roundtable of journalists: NBC's Richard Engel, The Atlantic's Jeffrey Goldberg, BBC  World News America's Katty Kay, Al-Arabiya's Hisham Melhem, and NBC's Andrea Mitchell.

David Gregory is the moderator of "Meet the Press." Betsy Fischer is the executive producer. Michelle Jaconi and Rebecca Samuels are producers.

Do I wish there were fewer Jews convened at that table (I count 4 out of 6 participants) and more Arabs? Yes. Do I wish Jews would come to terms with Zionism/ethnocentrism in light of our amazing power in America? Yes. (Thanks to Saif Ammous and CJ Harwood)

I just went there and raised five questions of mine related to the I-P situation Then I covered 250 prior questions raised for Obama; about 75% of them were about the I-P issue, especially Uncle Sam's retarded one-sided stance for so long now. Obviously people don't like it on a link for ALL Americans, hoping the horrible status quo will Change under Obama.

We really have to put yellow stars and tattoos on these people right. But let me ask this. What if they are Phil Weiss type Jews. Jews who think that it is "charming" to shoot Jews. Jews who observe Christian holidays not Jewish ones. Jews who go to "nakba' events on Yom Kippur. In other words no Jews at all.

BTW I don't understand the continued postings. According to Phil himself its all over and he's feeling "fabulous" about it.

Four out of six participants, plus both of the show's producers, its executive producer, their boss at the top of NBC News, and his boss running all of NBC-Universal.

Obama's website is a Facebook-era sop to the illusion of change. It's new media-savvy. The only point is to sell connectedness. Connectedness is the new Prozac.

His curtsies to AIPAC, his gathering of a Cheney-approved national security team and his naming the would-be vanquisher of Iran to head State all augur for something else. Americans had to ask questions earlier; the answers are all now in place.

Countdown to Barack's first invasion/airstrike/embargo/coup/etc. starts now.

Huffington, at one time, stated that posters who crticized "members of the Huffinton Post's extended family" would not see their critique published.

Today for example, Huffington publishes Amb. Marc Ginsberg's propagandistic defense of Israel's attack against Palestinian. Any posts suggesting that Ginsberg supports collective punishment of the Palestinian population, Hufffington deletes.

So HuffPo, by definition, provides space for propaganda to go unchallenged. I've found (at least before I was banned) that they'll allow dissent for issues other than those of interest to Zionists. But anyone who challenges the Israeli official narrative gets silenced one way or another. Her gatekeepers never rest, scrubbing any comment that might make Zionists cry.

Zsa-Zsa is a disgrace. She makes me sick when I see her supposedly "progressive" face all over the tube. I'm sure her book, _Right Is Wrong: How the Lunatic Fringe Hijacked America, Shredded the Constitution, and Made Us All Less Safe_ conveniently omits any substantial reference to the Z-Team, yet they are clearly part of the fringe that has helped shred the Constitution and made us less safe.

Bill, what difference does it make if Phil is a Jew or not? Who cares what holidays he celbrates? The important thing is that he's loyal to America first, something you wouldn't even dream of.

We really have to put burn swastikas on these people right. But let me ask this. What if they are Bill Pearlman aka SOG type Jews. Jews who think that it is "charming" to shoot Palestinians. Jews who observe the usual Jewish holidays not other ones. Jews who spit on "nakba' events on Yom Kippur. In other words racists all.

Gosh, instead of on the poor Mizrahis on Ashkelon and Sderot, couldn't a Qassam rocket fall on Amb. Ginsberg's house one of these days?

Duscany,
You should ask Phil directly if he is "loyal" to the US.

11 LanceThruster January 1, 2009 at 1:20 pm

Phil's loyalty appears to be to principles of humanistic universalism, which in my mind, support and defend every ideal which America is supposed to be founded on. I trust Phil's sense of justice more than I do any appeal to nationalism.

I support the ideals of my nation even when the nation itself and its leadership have gone so far astray.

How about some Christian Americans on the panels? We are paying plenty in blood and treasure for the side effects of this battle.

I don't think panels are balanced when they include Jews and Muslims. At least they are not balanced in the West. We have terrific interests in the subject; and when you multiply costs times population, ours are the most important interests.
