Interesting that Tenet wrote a whole book about Iraq and left Jews out of it. Will this finally give Chris Matthews (who beat up Frank Gaffney last night on Iraq) permission to say the magic words? (Jewish neocons) Jeffrey Goldberg picked it up in his blog, scooped it, like a duck on a junebug. Good for him. But Jeffrey darling, how do you explain that Tenet would write a whole book about Iraq and not say what he said in Prince Bandar's pool? What is the muzzle he was wearing on his soul?

The more you play up this Israel Lobby thing, the more Members of Congress will scuffle to make pro-Israel speeches. Most political strategists I've worked for wouldnt read your blog and think, MY Gosh, this Israel Lobby is horrible! Instead, they're thinking, wow if Phil really fears the Israel lobby this is a great opportunity for campaign financing and positive community PR. Get [insert bosses name] on the first flight to Israel!
I've always argued that the actual power of the pro-Israel community is much smaller that any of us think.
You really want to hurt the lobby, you should report on how small its organizations budgets are in comparison to other lobby groups, etc.
Many America-Firsters (not all, only the anti-Semitic ones) before WW2 said that one day a Jewish conspiracy to pressure the US into war with Germany be exposed. Jewish involvement in the invasion of Iraq will ever come out, because it wasnât the reason we went in.
Jewish Neocons played a MAJOR role in pressuring the administration to invade Iraq. But so did-non Jewish neocons. The majority of Jewish pro-Israel activist political donors were against the war. In the end, as someone else said, it was Don Rumsfeld, Cheney, etc. Even though I despise the oil-conspiracy asshole, I would nto be surprised if it was an attempt to secure America's dominance in the region for the entire 21st century as a means to secure our oil supply.
It's not that the Iraq war was a result of a Jewish conspiracy; it's that those who advocated for war, Neocons of all stripes, did so through deceptive means, for many different purposes, and actively sought to deceive, and are now actively seeking to cover up, and to deflect blame away from themselves. The Jews involved were and are effective in what they do, in a certain way, other than in proceeding with no good strategic plan and having no ethics about deception. Everyone should be held accountable, regardless. It's not about Jewishness, it's about competence and integrity.
Those in the know, that is, not the public or journalists, know how truly dark and sinister the neocons are, the thought of them ever being exposed would be unbelievable, first of all people would actually find the truth hard to believe.
And 'crazies' like alex jones occasionally spill the beans, but it doesn't really go anywhere. (Although millions listen)
Expect Obama's team to continue down the neocons path, resulting in more tragedy, that is, if something doesn't blow up before he gets in.
So this post is saying the neocon involvement will be exposed, only in a post revolutionary setting, and the jews in general will be lucky to escape the wrath of all.
