Got this wrong yesterday. The diamonds and champagne and Harvey Weinstein's small world party is happening tonight on Madison Avenue. Adalah NY is gathering at 62/5th at 6 pm then going on to Leviev's boite. In Haaretz, here is Alex Sinclair of the Jewish Theological Seminary pleading with Obama to make Israel break its "territorial addiction" (thanks to Richard Witty for tip). Says Sinclair:
We will have withdrawal symptoms. We will shake, we
will convulse, we will vomit. We will blame others. We will shout and
scream. We will try, through any means, to find a way to get to that
hidden bottle of alcohol or to stop it being taken away from us. But
our friend, Obama, must not waver.
I don't know who "we" is, when you teach at an American school. (My mistake: Sinclair is an Israeli, I guess.) But one way We can break this addiction is to talk openly of the Israel lobby, and to demonstrate outside Harvey Weinstein's fancy one-Israel party.
Minor problem with the conspiracy angle. Harvey Weinstein is a fat piece of shit who has NEVER once been identified with Jewish causes or anything else associated with our religion. He married a hot shiksa who I'm sure loves him for his intellect.
I'm sure he's not thought of as a fat piece of shit by the many good
charities he has given to.
Actually, his second marriage partner is also his business partner
in her fashion line business.
If you mean to suggest he's darn ugly, the photos that come up
on the internet don't like.
