re the bombing of Islamic University

The great Jeff Halper and Neve Gordon ask in the Chronicle of Higher Ed, Where's the outrage over the bombing of Islamic University? What about the 450 university officials who denounced the academic boycott of Israel–why aren't they speaking out here?

While the extent of the damage to the Islamic University, which was hit
in six separate airstrikes, is still unknown, recent reports indicate
that at least two major buildings were targeted, a science laboratory
and the Ladies’ Building, where female students attended classes. There
were no casualties, as the university was evacuated when the Israeli
assault began on Saturday.

Hamas has repeatedly bombed, and actually killed a girl in, Sapir College.
    Cause and effect.

You're up late Bill. Come on, even zealots need their sleep.

Sandy Stone, the name is Jim Haygood!
How are things in Gumdale? Must be New Year's there already . . .

Obviously post nos. 1 and 3 above are not mine.

    Happy new year, cretin.

I hope I'm not a bell weather. I've sent out many emails over the last year to all my contacts and rarely do any of them respond to any news and/or
my personal comments thereon–those I meet personally either ignore any talk about Israel and Palestine and our government's enmeshment, or, at best, nod knowingly–and change the subject.

My jewish contacts, secular or otherwise, always respond via email
the same way–by no longer responding to my emails at all. This group has included in-laws of different generations.

My email contacts and personal contacts run the range from those
who never graduated high school to those who are professionals with good credentials, the latter predominant.

False-flag commenting, Jim. It's for the zionists who are too chicken to join the Mossad.

Thanks for that clarification "Jim Haygood"!
Someone, or more likely several people, on this blog has decided that I, Jim Haygood, must remain true to my original, naive, and wrongheaded ideas about Israel/Palestine. I have grown a bit in my understanding, and the infantile behavior of my erstwhile comrades has hardly improved my opinion of their politics.

Canary – My friends, and those of my secular Jewish anti-Zionist lawyer friend respond in much the same manner. They either ignore any updates, or when it pains their consciences too much, ask not to be sent any more material of this nature.

See no evil, hear no evil….
