President Bush stacked his final selection of appointees to the
U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum Council with senior Jewish members of
his administration.

Appointment to the council is a political plum with which to reward diehard backers.
Not to worry! Nobody influential remembers the 1993 article Philip Gourevitch wrote that was critical of the memorial in Harpers. Nor Jonathan Rosen's critque of it in the New York Times the same year. Ira Stoll described the museum as a “a playpen for Clinton loyalists” in the Wall Street Journal in 2001.
Now the Bushies will have the Memorial with which to play. It's a bi-partisan plum and power base, backed with the guilt tool to influence each generation of Americans brought up in the Christian doctrine of Love Thy Neighbor As Thyself–

I discuss the Holocaust Museum Memorial Council in Anti-Zionist Strategy for Muslim Americans.
The USHMM Council receives about $60 million to spend on Zionist Holocaust propaganda.
The Holocaust memorial? Yeesh! Next thing you know they'll be discriminating in favor of Jews to run synagogues! There is just no end to this Jewish tribalism.
While we're on the subject, I think African-Americans tend to be overrepresented re: Trans-Atlantic slavery memorials.
@Texas Jew
Your sarcasm is both inappropriate and stupid. It reveals ethnocentricity and lack of understanding. It may come as a surprise to you, but the Jews are not the only people who have suffered genocide.
In America a memorial for the native americans should have priority-don't you think ?
If the purpose of this memorial is to act as a zionist propagandabase they should call it "Shoa"-memorial. Otherwise the Armenians, gipsys , native americans, palestinians u.a. will feel left out.
