This blog charts student occupations of several buildings at universities across England, in solidarity with the people of Gaza. At LSE it went on for 7 days and the students claimed victory. Anyone who wants to make a connection between American schools and the Israeli occupation would be wise to begin here, with a new website started by the Coalition of Women for Peace in Israel, who have created a database on those who profit from the occupation.

I'll just repeat what I said here. How would you like it if instead it was your opponents self-righteously engaged in this sort of thuggery and occupying those universities which did disinvest? And does the example of the former Rhodesia and "I showered off the AIDs" Zuma make you rethink the merits of the previous disinvestment movement?
