Money is an essential tool of the Israel lobby. Abba Eban wrote that Zionists got "fairly free access" to Truman in 1948 by making timely financial contributions to him. This tool has corrupted our politics. It's time to have the debate in an open and democratic manner.
(Anyone who says I'm a hypocrite because I'm supporting the financial instrument of divestment; there is a political tradition of sanctioning human rights abuses in foreign lands, and it is carried out transparently.

The resouces available to the Israel lobby have been greatly diminished by the ongoing collapse in the value of financial assets and real estate. Espcecially painful for the lobby is the massive downsizing of the heavily Jewish financial industry.
So even the worst recession/depression and bear market since the 1930s does have its positives.

Some of the brightest people in history were Poles. Like Copernicus (Mikołaj Kopernik) and Marie Curie (nee Sklodowska), the only person in history to win Nobel prizes in two sciences (physics and chemistry).
The mere fact that Eva happens to be both Polish and stupid does not mean that you should blame her stupidity on her Polishness. Just like the mere fact that a particular Jew happens to be both Jewish and greedy does not mean you should blame his greed on his Jewishness.
