Don't talk about the number of people Abbas has killed without recognising that, were it not for a stroke, Ariel Sharon might well still be the elected leader of Israel; a guy with a lot of blood on his hands. Still, the fact that either (or, as in reality, both) of these people are mass-murderers by proxy, is actually irrelevant. There will never be peace between Israel and Palestine without a willingness to let bygones be bygones, however hard that might be for families of those killed. Look at the situation in Northern Ireland for parallels - all the evidence suggests that Martin McGuinness, for example, was a serving member of the IRA and therefore directly involved in murders. A line has to be drawn somewhere.... Naturally, anyone who dares support him is an anti-semite though - an accusation which is, frankly, absurd, pathetic and rather sad.
