this item feels Jim Crow… South Africa… Raj… very yesterday

Israeli Arabs will be barred from jobs as railway safety inspectors in Israel because an Israeli army discharge certificate is now required for getting such jobs. Writes my tipster: "This reminds me of Jim Crow voting laws in the South. It's akin to the backdoor means used to keep African Americans disenfranchised." From the piece:

"We feel betrayed and discriminated against," [Assad Salame] said. "Now that they want to improve the salaries, they remembered
that we didn't serve in the army. It's a racist, discriminatory, and
outrageous decision. We feel like third-rate citizens."
Kadi Abed al-Karim, another resident of Qalansuwa who is
employed as an inspector by the train company, was also incensed at the
announcement. "This reeks of racism," he said. "The train company knows
very well that most Arabs will not be able to continue to work."

    20/3/2009:

Nablus – Ma’an Exclusive – More than a dozen young Palestinians were forced to strip naked by Israeli troops, who insisted the measure was a security precaution after the group requested permission to access closed-off village land Friday afternoon.

The men, from Deir Istiya southwest of Nablus, were on their way to tend lands west of the village that are sandwiched between two Israeli settlements, Ariel and Immanu’el. The men all had permits to access the land, but were accosted by a group of at least 15 armed Israeli settlers and prevented from passing into their land.

Israeli troops intervened in the settler-farmer standoff by forcing the Palestinians to remove their clothes, then turning them away from the land.

Local resident Raed Hamdan witnessed the incident. “We own the lands in this area and it belongs to the people of Deir Istiya but the Israeli troops came to the area and forced the young men to strip and searched them with great humiliation despite that they hold special permits to reach their lands.”

A member at the village council Nathmi Salman denounced the attacks on village youth and farmers. He noted that the 4,000 residents of the village suffer constantly from their close proximity to several Israeli settlements.

Should the USA regime make all Americans drop their pants to check out their loyalty?

Not a good test, though slowly growing more reliable. From WW2 to a couple decades ago, nearly all USA baby boys were circumcised automatically. This was a good source of revenue, and the foreskins were sold for female cosmetic properties, as they still are. The government or the patient picks up the tab, depending on if the young mother has any money. In the late 1970's a few Americans began questioning this practice as fallout from the women's lib movement. They discovered that circumcision began as a
way deemed to prevent masturbation; when that lost credence, they switched to health reasons, and now that the health reasons have been debunked, more and more Americans are joining the other western civilized nations in allowing no virtually automatic cut; the reverse is happening–at present the USA newborn boy is about 50-50 chance of being cut with things in flux, but there is a growing consensus
against cutting. The AMA is a culprit as for a long time it rubber-stamped this issue, that is, allowed cuts
for income and because if all were cut, nobody could use the pants-drop test on who is a jew.

A cut boy is deprived of a great source of sexual feeling nerve endings.
Thanks bod the era in the USA of mutilating baby boys automatically is ending, and they will be able
to enjoy a fuller sex life.

Let's leave the cutting of baby boy penis coverings to Jews and Muslims. Set other USA boys free to live a full life. And end the era of boom business in foreskins that the victims never got a cut from–monetarily speaking only.

Denying farmers access to their lands is part of a policy designed to snatch the lands away at some point. They have a rule that if the land is not used then it will utomatically be transferred over to the Israeli government but at the same time farmers are prevented from attending to their land.

I wrote about it on my blog a little while ago when a member of the Israeli group Anarchistst Against the Wall came to town on a speaking tour and he said this occures on a daily basis. He backed it up with video footage.

I have sometimes thought this might be the case, though of course it doesn't prevent masturbation, it just makes it a lot less pleasurable. It's certainly evidence of death and pain worshipping culture at work among ancient Israelites, if nothing else.

A circumcised penis is prettier than uncircumcised one. I had never seen an uncircumcised penis until in a book in sexual health class. I was repulsed by it. Seriously. The professor discussed how each sexual organs, for males and females, all look different.

I thought yes but some are nicer than others. Upon reading further I figured out the "strange" looking ones were uncircumcised.

No offense to the men out there who are uncircumcised. Men I have been with seem quite satisfied sexually. One even moaned like a woman. It was the hottest thing.

To each his own i guess.

This is really disappointing because historically the Railway Union was the most successful cross-communal one, with Arab-Jewish representation earliest, broadest, and most persistent. On the other hand, one major Israeli-Arab suicide bombing took place at a railway station, and because of the citizenship rules at the time, the National Insurance Institute had to pay social security death benefits to the bomber's family. I doubt the deciders of this policy are aware of the unique history and think they are reacting solely to a newly pressing security concern.

  9. kylebisme says:

S, I think you are reacting to what you are visually accustomed to, as most European women I've know say exactly the opposite. Also, I seen quite rational explanations of how on a technical level uncircumcised is unarguably better for both parties, for various reasons which I won't bother to elaborate on here. Lastly, the trauma on the of making the cut is something I'd never want to subject a child to. That is something I never considered until it was mentioned to me by a doctor, a Jewish doctor no less, who called the practice "downright barbaric". He wasn't even secular, either simply liberal reform. That really drove the point home for me and I can't help but feel a bit disappointed with my parents for subjecting me to what is effectively genital mutilation.

  10. S says:

    @ kylebisme,

Not too "religious" myself. But certainly conservative, by my standards, not my parents, I would circumcise my son, If i ever have one, because it's what makes us (Jews/Muslim) unique in that the father (and spiritual father of Islam, but father of the Arabs) of the two religions made a covenant with God that the men would be circumcised.

I have always been content and extremely happy about my sexual satisfaction. Most women do not have vaginal orgasm but do so through the stimulation of the clitoris. If someone's not a good lover, is lazy, doesn't care about his partner’s satisfaction then an uncircumcised penis is not going to help the woman achieve satisfaction.

But WHY are we having this discussion on a Political site?

    At least I'm anonymous!

  11. kylebisme says:

Heh, yeah I felt a bit odd seeing the topic come up here, but was completed to put my comments in regardless. Anyway, if bother you look into scholarly understanding of Semitic history, you'll find piles of evidence which dispute the scriptural accounts. Not that I am atheist by any means, but rather I am simply critical in distinguishing theology from dogma, and things like circumcision and not eating loathsome creatures seem far more likely to be practical advice for the conditions of the time rather than Divine Law.

Without modern hygiene it would be best to clip the tip, as if you don't God will likely bring suffering upon your member. Without modern oven's it's best to avoid pork and the like, because if you don't God may make you sick and could possibly kill you. Considering the linguistic and archaeological evidence to which contradicts much of scripture, that is my take on how such instruction was derived.

  12. Rowan says:

I've tightened this up, to exclude the impertinent mention of Islam:

I would circumcise my son, If I ever have one, because it's what makes us unique, in that the father of our religion made a covenant with God that the men would be circumcised.

It's good it came up, because now that a woman who, however anonymously, clearly prides herself on her 'liberatedness', says it, everyone can see what a brainwashed crock of shit it is.

  13. Rowan says:

Anyway, you're incorrect: the so-called "covenant of circumcision" was instituted between the sicko JHVH demon and Moses & Tzipporah, on the famous occasion when she placated the monster with his foreskin after cutting it off with a handy piece of flint, and for good measure remarking to him (doubtless in Hebrew) "a bloody husband hast thou been to me, anyway." Read your boibel.

There are regions of the world where men are accustomed to seeing only women with clitoral hood removed. A natural woman is an ugly abomination to them on every level. The clitoral hood holds
hosts of erotic cells and nerves. The male foreskin holds even more. Europeans enjoy all this.

Women who have never enjoyed sex with an uncut man may not realize that the foreskin rolls back as the member hardens–blink your eye during arousal and you will miss the change. The rolled foreskin encircles behind the penis head, very aesthetic look–and gives extra natural pleasure to the lady–something exotic condoms and dildos mimic.

I've been asked by European lovers to quit shaving my legs and armpits–they say it makes me look like a skinned chicken.

  15. anonn says:

How'd we get on this subject? I for one never experienced a problem with any American girl or woman
growing up uncut in the USA. My experience includes Jewish American ladies BTW. I looked up the pros and cons concerning circumcision when my first son was nearing birth. At that time the AMA had already changed its tune. Nowadays every young person I know realizes circumcision is a tribal rite in various places and religions around the world. Their position is to not do it, let the child himself decide later.
