Palestinian diaspora flick, ‘Salt of this Sea,’ comes to NY this week

Sometimes I wonder what it's like to be David Frum and Bill Kristol. You held the table for so long. You intoned about religious values and the murderous Arabs and people listened to you. You thought you'd won. But you didn't, if for no other reason than the Iraq war that you helped launch, which Americans don't like.
And now there are endless cultural/political signs that the Zeigeist is absolutely finished with you.  But unlike me, who had this happen to me in the 1980s as a leftie in my 20s, this is happening to you in your 40s or 50s. I.e., by the time the pendulum swings back, you'll be lucky to be around.
The Palestinian Diaspora movie Salt of this Sea is featured in the Tribeca Film Festival. Adam Wykle saw it in Washington recently:

If you could at least encourage your readers to see it for themselves, it would be great. This movie is incredible, we have so many movies and films on Jews and their lives and a token trashy Sandler "You don't mess with the Zohan" stuff but nobody ever sees a Palestinian movie and this movie represents the Palestinian diaspora and how this population is deeply tied to its homeland through the stories of older generations and the recreation of Palestine through culture and traditions. It's obviously more than that but it would be great to get people out their to see it on their own. Danny Glover is also going to be present at the after party for the movie which is part of the Tribeca Film Festival.
