NPR did a story yesterday morning on the Netanyahu/Obama meeting (notice the four comments are all incredibly hostile to Netanyahu). The host, I believe Renee Montagne, introduced the piece by speaking of recent events, including Israel's "striking targets" in Gaza in the weeks before Obama's inauguration. I am not sure of the exact quote; I can't replay the piece for some reason. Tell me if I'm wrong reader, but I know I am close: Striking targets– as if it this was some kind of exercise. NPR failed to say anything about the massive loss of life, I'm sure out of fear of getting letters. But striking targets, I think that was the phrase. Oh my. Help me mount my high horse!!
