A long post of mine here was lost to the ozone. Who knows how? I periodically get error messages "your post requires review by the administrators". Anyone else get that. I'm waiting for the movie. It would be a good effort. I saw the movie "Catch a Fire" last week, with Tim Robbins playing a South African interrogator. In the accompanying notes, he described that he had to get into the character honestly and sympathetically to portray him effectively. He couldn't do a simplistic propaganda piece. Write it Phil. Make some good money. Inform us deeply.

For the record I am not saying that Judaism is responsible for all the planets woes. There are some Jews who have devoted there life's work to trying to combat those very things – and many of them are the best the planet has to offer , IMO. But none of them are Henry Kissinger, or were Theordore Herzl. Or Gold Meir or Rabin, either. Apparently we're supposed to be in awe of the 'inner strength' of these people; the ability to calmly and calculatingly send Armies to destroy nations and kill families and annex territory. I never have been in awe of these 'great' people – and I'll be damned if I ever do. The Jewish community occupies a position of greater responsibility based on the power they've accrued -including domination of major western media centers, over representation in western Governments, etc etc. And at the moment – this crucial moment in human history it seems secular humanism will lose out to fanatical religious fantasy, unfortunately. Soon Israel will attack another nation on a suspicion that they might build a nuclear weapon – despite Israel's own huge, advanced arsenal of nuclear warheads more than enough to wipe out the entire planet. What about those western liberal's who attacked the Iranian election and the Iranian President even while knowing that Zionist directed attacks were being leveled at this sovereign nation with the aim of 'regime change'? Now that this appears not to have been successful – not for lack of trying – notice how the American media, its American politicians and Israel's supporters are readying for an all out propaganda war leading up to the bombing of a nation that deserves full respect and full recognition from an international community beholden to the global totalitarian rule of America. How will anti-Ahmedinejad liberals who supported the zionist funded attack on Iranian democracy feel when those bombs hit Tehran? I'm pretty sure you won't have to wait too long to find out…..

I'm thinking, if I may be so bold to offer some amateur psychoanalysis, maybe Phil grasping r desperately for nostalgic comfort in his former beliefs(how else to consider referring Henry Kissinger to anything but a murderous psychopath(a kind of cute one, I can only guess for the special praise he gets). And let's face it – it's obvious the brainwashing is intense in Judaic culture and the basic doctrine of being special in the eyes of God – apparently so much that an intense responsibility to be righteous in the community is placed on all Jews. That's a lot of pressure. It insures a level of conflicting conformity within a religious(mythology), and a historical(truth, reality) framework. Not a combination that lends itself to the modern secular world and the various challenges ahead for the survival of the planet and indeed of our species….

Japanese Americans don't constitute a religious group. And I have serious doubts about the Hindu claim – unless you have some kind of proof.

Yeah that's what it was numbnut – an 'occupation of the Falkland Islands'…. Jews can leave the Palestinian territories – can anyone say justice and peace? The settlements would have to be torn down – but I would imagine if some jews wanted to stay it wouldn't be a problem. But I don't see existing housing structures staying at ll – unless they are wanted by the Palestinians. Although I truly doubt they will, for some odd reason….

no Witty…you do not openly advocate ethnic cleansing. you always speak against it, which is swell, but you refuse to acknowledge that it is pure contradiction to constantly defend the right of israelis to govern themselves, when the only way they are able to do so is as a result of ethnic cleansing. We're talking about the ethnic cleansing of the PAST…namely, the nakba and the ethnic cleansing of the present, where leading israeli politicians insist that a Jewish majority MUST be maintained…if need be, through further arab expulsion, lest israel one day become what it incessantly (and wrongly) claims to be…a representative democracy.

I agree with you that the period of urgent desparate need is passed. That is why I advocate for green-line Israel, ENOUGH. Resulting in live and let live. But it needs to be consented (including by Hamas in practice) and it needs care in getting there, and keeping agreements enforced. Lovely, You lie frequently about my views. Its getting irritating. I NEVER suggested undertaking any ethnic cleansing, and you know that well. On the contrary, I consistently advocate everywhere for equal rights and equal due process under the law in BOTH Israel and Palestine. If you want to disagree with my opinions, or even ridicule me, bother to target my comments, not your straw-dog imagination of them.

That is that the UN or some reformed global governance is needed. Nations are NOT the greatest scale, and there needs to be international law and means to enforce it.
