Did you see the editorial in Ha'aretz today? They think Obama should take his case directly to the Israeli public.  Talk about Obamania!!!  From the Hebrew comments I would say that the President would not be treated kindly.  But who knows?   Maybe he can perform some more Obamagic even in Israel.

It was great to see JStreet and Americans for Peace Now included in the meeting at the White House. I think it was a real victory. Jeremy Ben-Ami from JStreet sure got some awesome face time in the press. Debkafile says J Street has a direct line to Rahm and Alexrod. I think the Obamen have always thought of JStreet as possible cover for any problems with the lobby. And JStreet sometimes appears more interested in supporting Obama than in talking about the peace process. Solomont I believe is JStreet's top financial backer and was also Obama's first top Jewish money guy.  I'm all for it if it leads to improved conditions in ME.

HRW may go begging to Saudi Arabia for money to critisize Israel, but doesn't Israel go begging to the U.S. tax payers for 2-3 billion a year in welfare?

There are a lot of Israel haters out there. Human Rights Watch the virulently anti Israel organization went to Saudi Arabia to raise money to attack Israel. What an obscene organization. HRW sees nothing wrong with begging one of the most repressive regimes on earth for money to attack Israel. http://online.wsj.com/article/SB12452834380552556...

J Street is the MOST LOYAL to Israel. It wants Israel to be a country worthy of the name.

A city-state you mean….I mean we don't want to settle in Land that doesn't belong to us. I mean just look at Tel-Aviv University, there were THREE Arab villages there before the Zionist war machine masacred them…now they try to play it off like its a legitimate part of Israel….THANKS MAX AND PHILIP!!
