in fact, the rules for posting should prohibit any support for Israel. Most big sites including Youtube etc will shut down your access for posting Nazi sympathy, which is exactly what support for israel is. All support for israel should be banned as hate speech.

I’m not for banning hate speech internet-wide, but there’s no reason we need put up with it here.

There is a balanced position. I appreciate in your description of the issue that you regarded Hamas shelling and prior gruesome civilian terror as reprehensible and inneffective (my words, not yours).

There are ways to express truth on the issue that don’t unnecessarily alienate your potential constituents. I see that as important for both the purpose of getting elected, AND for the purpose of accomplishing good when elected.

Invoking cause-celebres will motivate your base (much as anti-abortion diatribes motivate the republican conservative base). But, it might also motivate your opposition and in a partisan manner. Your assessment of the issue will be described as simplistic. Hopefully that will be a false attribution, and you can explain in more complexity how you approach the multitude of issues.

If it is important to speak about, it is also important to be very skillful in addressing.

I personally regard the important goal to be a viable and consented peace. I very much like Obama’s approach so far to accomplish that.

I understand that as comprised mostly of skillfully eliminating obstacles to peace, layer by layer by layer by layer. He does NOT evoke cause celebre’s, as that deters the process of developing a consent (even with his assertive mediation).

And, at the same time, he does apply backbone to critical tipping issues (like the settlements) which indicate Israel’s long-term intent.

You need more than just your base to win your district. Maybe I’m wrong, and Susan Sarandon’s support will get you elected. (You should note that Phil savaged her here for willingly buying jewelry from a large jewelry shop owned by a supporter of settlers).

But, with all of your stated agenda already in process under the Obama administration, what exactly are you running for?

And, how do your views on the majority of issues that affect your constituents, differ from Harman’s?

Obama is proceeding very well relative to Israel to my understanding. How would your presence in Congress, enhance good?

Most Jews are imbeciles. The presence of a few off-the-charts geniuses like Einstein doesn’t alter that fact one iota.
