I can see Meathead defending the straying Israeli girls based on a notion of individual choice, while Archie says the monitors are acting for the girls’ own good–the girls are too childish to know what’s good for them, and they don’t know reality. Why are the Israeli monitors acting out like dinosaurs? Don’t they know dinosaurs became instinct? The ice age is upon us? Or is that just Richard Witty frozen in the 1940′s with a plastic toy snow shovel from Toys R Us?

Of course he does, and invites them to deserve it. What else can you do and still retain your own decency? Condemn and threaten.

Although how someone who ever espoused a fraction of the neo-conservative outlook found a sense of decency is amazing to me, but it’s a world of, as Hammerstein said “a hundred thousand miracles”.

Because of NPR’s obvious prejudice against Palestine, and prejudice for the militant Zionist view, I stopped donations years ago. Part of my personal boycott of Israeli products sold in the US… yes, you got it right… “Israeli” (if not in fact, then “in effect”).

Gee Citizen, we got a van full of horny young guy, out to chastise girls who are “sluts” and “traitors”, and the guys in the van feel, know authority is on their side. Now there’s a situation which could never, ever result in a gang rape or molestation or abuse.
So I guess the Israelis could send a woman with the guys as an observer, except that would be tref her sitting with the guys in the van, you know, temptation.
