    And in Nil’in:

Anti-wall activists say boy shot in head

Medics aid Nil`in protester shot by sniper on 4 December 2008
Bethlehem – Ma’an – Israeli forces shot an eight-year-old Palestinian boy in the head with a rubber-coated bullet in the West Bank village of Nil’in on Friday afternoon, local activists said.

The boy, who was not identified, was taken to a Ramallah hospital for treatment, according to the Popular Committee Against the Wall, which said he was sent home with six stitches.

The committee said in a statement that soldiers beat and arrested two teenagers, identified only as residents of Shuqba, a neighboring village, aged 15 and 17, and that Red Crescent volunteers “tried to come to their rescue. Soldiers then assaulted one medical volunteer – Juma’a Khawaja, he was beaten with a gun.”

A bit off the subject but par for the course –

    ISRAEL’S DIRTY HANDS IN AFRICA

“Ziv and Tzur became involved in Guinea following a military coup d’etat by Capt. Moussa Dadis Camara, who took power in December 2008 after the death of previous ruler Lansana Conte. Camara, who suspended the constitution, clamped down on freedoms in the country and would later be a victim of a failed assassination attempt by one of his generals.

Wary of both his gendarmerie and the old presidential guard, Camara began looking for a security expert who would train his own guard of loyalists…

Although there are no official diplomatic ties with the country, some Israelis frequent Guinea for business, including international diamond dealer Benny Steinmetz, whose company, BSGR, received a concession to mine iron ore in the country. Steinmetz has received further concessions from Camara…

The first was the establishment and equipping of the presidential guard unit, and a larger force composed of members of the president’s tribal loyalists…

In September, the president’s soldiers slaughtered demonstrators who had gathered in the soccer stadium in Conakry. According to human rights organizations, 157 people were killed in the massacre, dozens of women were raped by soldiers and hundreds of demonstrators were beaten. The French government and the United Nations approached Israel with a request to examine the involvement of Israeli military advisors in Guinea. “

Holy cow. Those IDF stooges really are total cowards.

Great use of all that military aid our tax dollars pay for, huh, gassing civilian protesters.

i recognize wittys friends in the bottom pic on the left….. they actually remind me of witty!! all that protective gear with not a spot of vulnerability…. who else does that remind me of? humm….

  6. Cliff says:

The IDF spends most of it’s time fighting kids with rocks, so yea – this must be a step up for them.

  7. Citizen says:

Interesting to compare the price in US tax dollars of each one of those Israeli gas canisters tossed over the fence by those well-equipped heros, and the Palestinian “gas masks”–a plastic grocery bag for the lucky ones. How smug can you be? Note the face
of that IDF soldier listening to the Palestinian listing the IDF crimes against his family and friends.
