Two chances in NYC to hear reports from the Gaza Freedom March

There are two great chances to get report backs from the Gaza Freedom March this upcoming week:

Jan21 leaflet 0001

And also this Sunday, January 17, 5:00 pm at the Brecht Forum:

Join Democracy Now’s Anjali Kamat, The Indypendent and poet Remi Kanazi for a special fundraiser and discussion on the Gaza Freedom March.

Last month, more than one thousand people from all over the world traveled to Egypt to participate in the Gaza Freedom march one year after Israel massacred 1,400 civilians.

Indypendent reporters Ellen Davidson and Alex Kane participated in the delegation. Hear from them, Michael Ratner, Karen Ranucci and others for the inside story on what really happened in Egypt and Gaza, to learn about the “Cairo Declaration,” and what you can do to help build resistance against the illegal Israeli war and occupation.

Also, if you went on the delegation, please join us and offer your perspective.

Delicious food, cash bar, music and dancing to follow. Admission, $10 and up (sliding scale). All proceeds to benefit Gaza relief and The Indypendent.

451 West Street, between Bank and Bethune Streets, NYC. For directions, visit: link to brechtforum.org
