MY COMMENT: Permission to leave is hereby granted. Don’t let the chiggers bite!
P.S. Try to to bring back a few opossums. Granny wants to make a stew!
Enjoy your time.
In the meantime, the California Senate GOP primary is heating up, over Israel!
“… he (Campbell) voted against giving Israel an additional $30 million in economic aid, which was to have been taken from funds set aside for the neediest nations, such as those in Africa. That money, he said, was on top of a $700-million aid request that he supported and an earlier $3-billion appropriation.
Campbell noted that he has traveled to various African nations to teach and has seen first-hand how much difference even a small amount of money could accomplish.
“I remember the mayor of a village in northern Malawi came out to thank us for a little water pump. It was probably under $50, and it allowed the water from the river to be brought to this area,” Campbell said. “You don’t forget things like that.”
Clearly not a true friend and lover of poor little Israel. He should ape the Black Caucus. Or the South African regime doing big security business with 30 Israeli companies
to make the World Cup a fun event.
Maybe we could use this as an open thread to post new articles.

has an important piece on the growing and dangerous Zionization of Canada’s foreign policy.
What’s going on in Germany right now is very strange and tumultuous, at least from my point of view. Obviously, Israel still plays the guilt card and can use that to instill fear in German politicians and academics if they dare to do anything other than exactly what Israel wants.
On the flip side, the German attitude toward the United States has shifted almost tectonically, thanks to the disastrous war we dragged them (and the rest of NATO) into Afghanistan, and our attempts to drag them into Iraq. The incident whereby the German airforce bombed that semi tanker and killed dozens of people is still rattling German politics (as opposed to in the US, where drone attacks slaughtering dozens of civilians has become routine).
Sooner or later, I think, the German electorate is going to connect the dots between Zionism and the American imperialist war machine. Nothing is going to spell that out more clearly than what we’re going to do to Iran, I predict.
I think your prediction is pretty probable. OTH, Finklestein and is only the latest
Holocaust survivor spawn to be banned from speaking freely in Germany. The famous German addiction to idealism, that is, pure principles (whether negative or positive), doesn not seem to apply to the phrase “Never Again.” Can’t have a German unless they wear either machine gun (Uzi, these days) or a sack cloth? Have you ever heard a German protest the plight of the Paestinians in the wake of the Nuremberg Trials? At your feet or at your throat, as Churchill always said? Most make the latest generation of Germans really happy to pay reparations to Israel so it can fuck all over the Palestinians with their slow genocide, rather than
the old-fashioned quick stroke. Where’s LeaNder to comment on this?
I don’t know the exact breakout of the UN vote on Goldstone yet but Israel lost 11 countries between the first and second Goldstone resolutions, including Australia. The first vote had 18 against and the second had only 7 against.
Wonder what Crocodile Dunee thinks of Israeli activity in the OT?

Has he ever spoken out? Mostly everybody in the USA likes him.
Only Canada, Nauru, Panama, Macedonia and Micronesia joined the U.S. and Israel in voting against the Goldstone resolution. Rock bottom.
…and Macedonia would be the only one of those three not under the US’s protectorating thumb. (And yes, I put Canada there too, considering how neoconservative their government has become and how much they toady to US military operations.)
Now check out the tiny economically dependent (on USA) countries that swung
the partition vote at the UN back in the day. Hint: 1 was Haiti.

Doesn’t matter. Our Congress and White House have been sold to Israel since JFK days. Israel owns the USA, as some of their leaders have said publicaly in the past.
Here’s a run-down of the utter failure of attempts to control the rogue state by
cutting off aid:

60% of democratic funding comes from organizations within the USA’s 2% jews. With republicans, it’s less, but there, the Christian Zionists are a key support group.
The AIPAC recipe is slowly killing the USA, both financially, and by loss of
the good reputation it had from WW2. Our soldiers do not die for oil, but for Israel. Connect the dots from 9/11 onward.

“Jewish AND democratic” continues to prove itself to be a construct of mutual exclusion in Israel.

Today her works treated as gospel by right-wing powerhouses like Alan Greenspan and Clarence Thomas, but Ayn Rand found early inspiration in 1920′s murderer William Hickman.
