Robert Wright at the New York Times opinionator blog can!
FYI: Zuckerman is the former chairman of the Conference of Presidents of Major Jewish Organizations, and many of his posts on Huffpo have been about Israel, and he has aligned with the settler movement. His anti-Obama posts and Iran hawkishness and Iraq-war-drum-banging that Wright scores have the same root. I don’t know how anyone can be persuasive arguing that Israel’s security had nothing to do with the Iraq war if the blatant Israel-agenda of major actors is discounted in the media.

Wright sure was careful not to bring up Zuckerman’s key motivating obsession, Israel. Good spot, Phil.
Robert Wright is a great guy, bloggingheads is a real achievement, but, as his sparring partner Kaus often says, he’s got a weakness for ‘fakery’, not least in discussion of Middle East politics.
Maybe he has college tuitions to pay.
What a joke! Who needs this greasy Jewish war pig in their state casting votes for Tel-Aviv? Oh, but maybe after Lieberman’s future loss, Connecticut will be hungry for another huckster.
Bloomberg is cool compared to this nerd, and Zuckerman makes Buchanan dignified on that Sunday Political show, where the furniture hasn’t been changed since the 1980′s.
Money talks. Max Blumenthal reported that Elie Wiesel got $500,000 for a speech to “Christian” Zionists. (link to mondoweiss.net
The Elie Wiesel Foundation for Humanity paid for a full page NY Times ad on February 7 calling for particularly brutal and harsh sanctions against Iran. (link to counterpunch.com
Equally stomach-turning, check out the editorial in The NY Post urging [how unsurprising] that MZ throw his hat into the ring. The first two reasons given: that Mort is an internationalist and that he is a strong supporter of Israel [Duh!]. It continues on with some blather about the glorious 4 terms of the late Daniel Patrick Moynihan. Whose greatest achievement was being [guess what] a strong supporter of Israel. Representation like that I can easily do without.
