Now think of all the U.S. synagogues with banners saying, ‘We support Israel in its quest for peace’

I’m told that documentary photographer Haitham Al Khatib, who was arrested in Bil’in on Friday, has been released by the Israelis. Above is a photograph by Hamde Abo of Haitham’s arrest, during a protest at the wall which confiscates Bil’in’s land. You can see the camera in his right hand, at far right. K.E. Feldman says, "This leaves the village of Bil’in with five people in Israeli jail, out of 1800 residents.  And with Haitham’s release, that still leaves over 6,700 Palestinians in Israeli jails–over 300 of them are children, according to the Guardian."
