MY COMMENT: Is it merely a matter of motivation/newsworthiness or is it also a matter of needing the “cover” provided by the “liberal Orthodox Jews” opposed to the demolitions?

It was more than factually accurate. It was appealing to Jews’ kindness and justice.

Saying, you can be Jewish and kind, rather than Jewish or kind, or among the far left, unkind to orthodox.

I prefer kindness as my basis of political conviction to opportunistic constructions of justice.
