Attack on Israeli policy=attack on Israel’s existence. No distinction between conduct and being? Without such distinction, can there be any criminal law?
Anywhere? Kant, anyone? Gives new meaning to the catagorical imperative.
Just a branding issue?
No distinction between conduct and being?
The thinking and action of a truly insane entity. It is not a one-off occurrence. It’s a state of being.
Psychologically and medically, when reactions are all out of proportion to the stimulii, you have insanity. That is what Israel has become: a mentally ill entity concocted and ruled by crazymakers, with a complete disconnect between cause & effect.
To call it a “branding issue” underscores the pathology. They are so stupid, so brain-dead, they think that by changing the name of the restaurant that the rats the health dept found in the kitchen will go away.
channeling Avigail Abarbenal:
Yet another good reason for Jes to abandon Jewishness. It is cruel to bring up your children with a continuous fear of annihilation.
Branding? When they publish and promote books like this? And we’re supposed to think Sharia Law is worse than this rabbinical horseshit? The new diversionary tactic trumped up for the west (specifically the 18-35 crowd) about ‘Look what those horrid people are doing to their women’, like the noseless face on Newsweek this week, pales by comparison with Kill All the Non-Jew Babies and Women crap these psychopaths are preaching.
The King’s Torah: a rabbinic text or a call to terror?
Prohibition ‘Thou Shalt Not Murder’ applies only ‘to a Jew who kills a Jew,’ write Rabbis Yitzhak Shapira and Yosef Elitzur.

Israeli Rabbi Preaches “Slaughter” of Gentile Babies

Thanks PG for that. I’d copied it somewhere when she first wrote it.
I think you must be Jewish to get one’s head in that box, it is whack a doodle doo to my poor goy head.
This Israeli PR thing is something new? It’s been ongoing since day one.
The only “news” here is that Israel has nothing new. And, I think that’s a good thing in the sense that it illustrates the absolute lack of any Israeli honesty or political pragmatism.
What it illustrates is Israeli delusion and the gulf between that illusion and reality–as reflected in the increased international condemnation of Israeli policy.
There are no more tricks in Israel’s bag.
Rowan hinted at what may start to happen: did zionism emerge full-born from the side of Venus, in 1948, or 1881, or 1917, or 1967? Or is it integral to Judaism/Jewishness?
only so much fed-upness people can pound out of their systems by punching a keyboard. Eventually, something is going to have to change.
You know what would be a neat trick? If they could figure out how to exist without the need of a mortal enemy. C’mon Israel, use your big brains.
Big brain stuff: see – link to thehypertexts.com
Einstein lamented the failure of the Jews to reach a just understanding with the Arabs, and criticized their reliance on their influence with powerful Englishmen like Winston Churchill. (Churchill sympathized strongly with Zionism and had much to do with the transfer of political power to the Jewish minority in the early 1920′s.) In a letter to a friend, Einstein said: “I also think that during these last years an understanding between us and the Arabs which could have led to a bi-national administration was no longer possible. Earlier, however—actually, since 1918—we neglected the Arabs and trusted in the Englishmen over and over again.” But to be fair to the Englishmen, they often did much—though never all—of what the more ardent Zionists demanded, to the anguish of the Palestinian majority, who were denied the right to self-determination. It would have been impossible for Englishmen to make one side happy without bitterly disappointing the other. But if true democracy had been enacted, the Arab majority could have prevented what eventually happened in 1948: the ethnic cleansing of hundreds of thousands of Palestinian farmers and their families, the majority of whom were not combatants and had every right to return to their land once the fighting was over. For someone like Einstein, who believed in the equality of human beings, and for everyone who abhors racism and believes in equal human rights, a Jewish state in Palestine presents a real dilemma. The Palestinians are, and have always been, the majority. Only by keeping millions of Palestinians in refugee camps can the Jews claim to constitute the “majority.”
Einstein denied any superior rights for Jews, calling for “complete equality” for Palestinian Arabs as the “most important aspect” of Jewish policy: “The most important aspect of our policy must be our ever-present, manifest desire to institute complete equality for the Arab citizens living in our midst … The attitude we adopt toward the Arab minority will provide the real test of our moral standards as a people.”Only cooperation with Arabs, led by “educated, spiritually alert” Jewish workers, he wrote, “can create a dignified and safe life.” What saddens me is less the fact that the Jews are not smart enough to understand this, but rather, that they are not just smart enough to want it.”
Einstein said, “I should much rather see reasonable agreement with the Arabs on the basis of living together in peace than the creation of a Jewish State. Apart from practical considerations, my awareness of the essential nature of Judaism resists the idea of a Jewish State, with borders, an army, and a measure of temporal power, no matter how modest. I am afraid of the inner damage Judaism will sustain … “
It’s run out of tricks and the geniuses behind the same failed policies think that more force is the answer. Israel is doomed to failure because it is based on a failed policy, lead by both failed ideology and failed leaders. Running a country in the 21st century on a 19th century ideology is destructive. Israel has run its course. Alas, the idiots supporting it are holding on to a romantic illusion from an era gone by.
marvelous line in Herzl’s “Der Judenstaat,” complaining about the twin problems of Jews having too much wealth and of having to find jobs for too many “mediocre intellectuals.”
Alan Greenspan comes to mind.
“Israel’s policy of appeasement and concessions have led the world to lose respect for Israel.”
then the way forward is clear: kill more people.
Watch out, the video lays out with bullet points what they plan to do and it includes going after those who criticize Israel’s policies (in Israeli: “call for Israel’s destruction”). By way of deception… Check the cookies on your puter lately?
Those bullet points only underscore why people are fed up with israeli responses…and why the world complains about and sneers at it.
note one the conclusions of the reut institute @ 8:35 in the video:
1. Developing a mode-of-operations to preempt and respond to delegitimization
i’d say being accused of hariri’s assassination is a delegitimization and the border scruffle this morning preempted the speech.
the whole notion of “delegitimization” is hilarious because israel has done it and is actively doing it to itself … with every new unseemly and horrific action israel takes they chip away at their own image, and yet they truly believe they can spin this too and blame outsiders for the damage they themselves cause … now that’s chutzpah
MRW sez: “To call it a “branding issue” underscores the pathology. They are so stupid, so brain-dead, they think that by changing the name of the restaurant that the rats the health dept found in the kitchen will go away.”
Two things stand out in the video. One is the Stalinist mind-set of the Zionist elites who consider any deviation from Zionist orthodoxy to be apostasy which must be attacked and destroyed. The other is the extent to which American Zionists such as Morton Klein of the ZOA seek an
uncompromising, “strong” Israel in service of US Zionists’ ideological requirements. If one thinks about it even for a minute, who the hell is Morton Klein to advise Israel to, in effect, make war not peace?
