tipphoto

1st Prize: $150.00
2nd Prize: $100.00
3rd Prize: $50.00

We are particularly looking for colorful photos that show the full variety of daily life in Israel. If you live there or if you are just visiting, give us your best shots and we’ll display them on our site with full credit!

Email your best photo to: info@theisraelproject.org

Please submit your photos as .jpg and write “PHOTO CONTEST” in the subject line.

Just a warning though. The fine print says “No submission may depict harmful or illegal activity or substances, or offensive subject matter as determined in the sole discretion of TIP.” So that might narrow your options some. Good luck!

  1. MRW says:

You ought to offer a “Rejects” contest.

  2. Avi says:

Israel is like Britney Spears, once that false facade wore off, it became nearly impossible to maintain the image, and so we started seeing an Israel that beat up people, spat on them, chain smoked, binge drank, got into fights and drove drunk.

Meanwhile, Israel’s 13 year old groupies are still enchanted by her image and fame.

And those 13 year olds may never grow up. They’re stuck with their delusions in perpetuity .

I’ve got a few ‘good’ shots of Israel. They consist mostly of demolished homes of innocent civilians, mutilated bodies of women and children and pools of blood and urine.

I bet if I sent in a collage of these images, they’d make a postcard out of them.

    No? No, I guess not.

PR is all about image and so Israel and its two-faced bi-polar Zionist supporters in the U.S. prefer to see Israel the GQ Magazine. And much in the same way that exterior facade is superficial, so is Israel and its supporters, shallow and primal.

I’ve got some great photos of the Apartheid wall, the illegal Moskowitz-funded buildings, graffiti that says “Death to the Arabs,” and a bunch of pictures of Hebron. Anticipating the need for more hasbara, I even made a little ad for the Israelis:

    Did I win?

  4. RoHa says:

The phrase “Best Shots of Israel” did not make me think of shooting with a camera.

  5. Saleema says:

We should set up a contest depicting Israeli occupation and set up a prize for the best three pictures.

  6. demize says:

Nothing illegal you said? Hmm that kind of narrows it down a bit.

  7. occupyresist says:

    Well it depends,

    Does Israel = Greater Israel?

We are particularly looking for colorful photos that show the full variety of daily life in Israel.

I assume that includes life in the IDF. How about some shots from Eden Abergil’s photo album “Army… the most beautiful time of my life. :)”?

  9. DARN….I haven’t been there in 6 years. I’d like to offer these suggestions.
    Some are recent PR opportunities

APPRECIATION of HISTORICAL RESIDENCES: settlers happily sitting in the doorway of their “new residence” an old house taken by force from Palestinians ….caution, settlers guns must be hidden; no Palestinians in photo, especially if they are crying; no guards, police, military visible

GREEN ISRAEL and FAMILY TOGETHERNESS: multi generational shot…proud grand parents and parents supporting their children as they enthusiastically plant trees for a new forest…. caution: make certain no remnants of destroyed homes or Palestinians are in view Enhancement …photoshop some larger trees in background…indicating an on going family project

TRANSPORTATION: Happy Israelis zipping along on their convenient new highway to their settlement. caution: this may be a tough shot: no Palestinian roads (they look like dirt paths) in view, Palestinians, their homes, or orchards … they may be included if they are in good shape…no evidence of fire, up-rooting or destruction on surrounding land…almost forgot, hide the guns

RECREATION; Relaxing settlers sitting abound the swimming pool, children cooperating with each other as they frolic and play in the pool; include green lawns and in the background sprinklers watering lawns…this will dispel any worries of water shortages in the settlements…caution, do not include any evidence stolen Palestine water is used.

COMMERCE: Happy workers in a settlement factory making cosmetics…. display products, model applying them. caution: no evidence of connection with Red Sea…some viewers may have heard unfair criticism, best not to remind them

  10. Avi says:

    Come to Israel

    Come to Israel Advertising Campaign

  11. Parity says:

Maybe we could use this PR stunt to contrast, through pictures, the easy and merry life of Israelis with the suffering of the Palestinians.
