Ofer tells me this picture was on facebook, from a demonstration in the occupied village of al Masara, where the Israeli settlement of Efrat is gobbling gobbling more Palestinian land.

    is said that a nice pretty young woman like her would have to such lengths just so people won’t fall over in rewarding the storm troopers who stole her country

      They are indeed vital, but wholly insufficient. The occupation will not be “destroyed” without concerted international effort: BDS.

        And those BDS-efforts must be BDS-efforts-by-nations. BDS by people alone is not enough. Let the nations, led by Turkey and the South Americans (and, soon, Egypt), begin BDS. If the USA does not veto the UNSC resolution on settlements, then the next act is a stronger resolution, one which copies UNSC 465 by demanding the removal of all settlers and the dismantling of all settlements. And then a still stronger one, the UNSC-BDS resolution, which would be 465 with real teeth.

        But if the USA does veto, as expected, then UNGA and individual nations must remove their embassies, end their commercial air-links, end visas to Israelis, and whatever else makes sense, ALL EXPLICITLY KEYED to removal of settlers and dismantling of settlements. Ending trade, especially in military items, would be best, even if it means more military trade with the USA.
