This picture of Jeremy Ben-Ami was at a rightwing American-Israeli’s blog, attacking J Street. Notice the quotation from the liberal Long Island congressman, Gary Ackerman, against J Street. So the battle has been joined inside the Jewish community over the Israeli settlements.
Many American Jews will fiercely defend them, while the J Street/Remnick wing is against the project, 44 years into it. I’m not sure that it matters– this may be a fight over Jewish collective identity and the question, who lost Israel? Ali Gharib spotted this.
