Israeli forces raided two houses in Bil’in at 1:30 a.m.

The Israeli occupation forces stormed the village of Bil'in early this morning. The Israeli forces of army and police occupation stormed the village of Bil'in at 1:30 a.m., raiding the houses of Ali Ibrahim Bornat and Khames Abo Rahma. They searched the houses and tampered with their contents under the pretext of a search for foreigners. It also prevented the local press from documenting the event. The operation lasted for an hour.

    Always keep in mind that Israel kept the international press from documenting what took place in the Gaza. When Israeli soldiers hit the deck of the Mavi Marmara they not only confiscated all recording devices they killed a few of the individuals recording what was taking place.

    Didn’t Kissinger once (1980′s ?) tell Israel that it could do anything it wanted if it but removed the media first? (Can’t find it, but did find this, similar: http://us-orders-media-silence-over-bahrain.)

      In the thread about Mr. Khamis’ killing you chastised someone for her inappropriate comment given the context.

      Implied in your condemnation was that her comment defied the norms of common decency.

      So, the question that arises is this: Why is it that your outrages over violations of common decency are limited to that thread?

      Outside the Zionist community, the targeting of journalists by Israeli forces defies common decency. Off the top of my head I know of at least three who were intentionally targeted by the Israeli military, shot and killed. This does not include the attacks and restrictions placed on non-Jewish journalists inside Israel (Dan Rather crew had a Palestinian cameraman who was barred from entry, for example).

      So, why do you prefer being a hypocrite?

        Funny how defence of Israel is often phrased as “it’s not as bad as the worst” rather than “it’s as good as or better than the best”.
