Kitsch

Kitsch indeed. Now I remember why I never go into those places. What is it Simon Schama said about Picasso– “he saved modern art from the curse of its own cleverness.” That stuff is barely clever crap.Tel Aviv still looks cool, however.

“Kitsch”

The statue or Israel?

Phil “whats in there” a package of white powder in a silver vile

Phil, did you ask what the material use, was?
Looks like gold/platinum plate…real or enamel…but over what base?
Coincidentally, been looking at methods for large piece I have been thinking of…so am particularly interested…and I didn’t find the Freud pieces on his site.

btw, I’m surprised at all the harsh judgements. This stuff is very detailed and very difficult to do. I don’t know what every piece means, but I think it’s awesome. I went to his site…and he also does many tradition Jewish figures/items. It should give anyone a nice feeling as they take the tour.
