But it does have an ad hoc, awkward tone that is still oddly entertaining. Besides getting the Beatles title wrong, and eliding the fact that Tel Aviv was named best gay city, and not most fun city, he does hit most of his hasbara points. Still, for some real showmanship go to the top.

Rudoren published a NYtimes article today.
Could they still do all that science, all that technology, all that GREAT stuff — that makes Oren so proud — if they (gasp!) did not pursue Greater Israel, settlement, oppression, racism, etc.?
Why are the “good Israel” (I do not say “democratic Israel, but I mean this hi-tech Israel he feels so proud of, and, hey, pro-LGBT Israel too, why not?) and the “bad Israel” (roughly, the one the Palestinians know and don’t especially love) — why are they necessarily joined at the hip?
Would the hi-tech folks go away if Israel (had to) (did) give back the WB&G and made a fair peace (and “gave up” 50% of the water and 50% of the Mediterranean petroleum resources)?
Would giving up “bad Israel” destroy “good Israel”?
