Q: After shifting on gay-marriage (a form of human rights), can an Obama shift from pretend to real concern for Palestinian human and national rights be far behind? A: yes, but we must keep working. Maybe sometime in November there might be an announcement * * * (I DID say “maybe”).

If I were advising Obama I would’ve told him to wait until after the election to come out for gay marriage (mind you only 57,000 couples even got gay married out of tens of millions of US gays) because now he’ll lose toss-up North Carolina and maybe Florida and Iowa and Ohio (and possibly Virginia too) with that stance – because Romney is such a pathetic candidate Obama will still squeak out an electoral win with 271 electoral votes in a worst-case-scenario … as for the Nabka, absolutely O should wait until after the election – there is not enough gay money to substitute for the lower amount of jewish money this election cycle

awesome!

someday a president will honor the nakba in a ceremony in the rose garden!
