I would love to see what about Israeli Apartheid! Not many people know what the “right of return” is — but everyone has heard of Apartheid!

Now all Muni needs to do is announce their vandalism cleaning day will be 1st September.

Do we know who paid for this?

Who’s going to admit to it?

Geller would demand a relaunch of the Nuremberg Trials.

But fair is fair! Geller said her ad was OK by Muni’s rules and I hope and trust this ad — however paid for — will survive and prosper, prosper PARTICULARLY because it replies to and thus echoes the horrible, horrible Geller ad.

The ad war is also still going on in Westchester County, NY, with each side learning from court rulings and interested organizations and adapting their ads accordingly.

      it’s really exciting citizen.
one wonders what kind of ad response these racist things will elicit. so far we see beauty in red.

I have to say that I fully enjoy the irony of an awful ad being “morphed” into a powerful message …

Annie, it’s hard to tell what I’m seeing. Is this an actual defacement of a Pam Geller ad on an SF bus, or is it simply computer generated?

I was wondering the same thing – it looks like a stick-on, but it could just be photoshop since the perspective of the replacement text doesn’t quite match, although it could be an optical illusion.

EDIT: On further examination of the original photo, this looks like it is real and is taped on. It is obvious in this jpeg: http://desertpeace.files.wordpress.com/2012/08/bayarea1.jpg

I’m beginning to love Pam Geller. We should send her a letter of thanks.

Incidentally, I was watching a vid (unrelated) and this came up:

International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights

Adopted and opened for signature, ratification and accession by General Assembly resolution 2200A (XXI)
    of 16 December 1966

    Article 20

    1. Any propaganda for war shall be prohibited by law.

    2. Any advocacy of national, racial or religious hatred that constitutes incitement to discrimination, hostility or violence shall be prohibited by law.

Surely Muni can cite this. Geller’s ads are in violation of both parts.
