Rosh Hashanah 5773: Let the man in front of the tank win

A tank, a soldier, the IDF … elements in a Rosh Hashanah greeting card which is circulating on the web:

Seeing the card, I was reminded of the iconic image of Art Gish facing down an IDF tank. Gish worked with the Christian Peacemakers Team (CPT) in Hebron. Here’s my card wishing all the writers and readers of Mondoweiss a good new year:
